It took us like an hour to understand what the instructions were telling us, but after that it took us like 25 mins to finish the whole thing. I love that the base folds for easy moving. However, the bed frame has the bed sit directly on top of it - there are no bars, slots, or recesses to keep that mattress in place, so the mattress just slides around on top. I’m glad I caught this on sale. Great quality, stable, little squeaky not too loud though. Big people friendly which I love. The assembly was difficult at first because I don’t do well with picture instructions. I looked on YouTube for an assembly, found one and I put it together very easily. Can’t say much about the storage space underneath but can say I want to buy some cute collapsible storage cubes for underneath or drawers with wheels.
