The bike is great and my son really enjoys it. It's not too fast and looks amazing. It's silent, got good torque and the battery seems to last forever before recharge. We had an issue when we accidentally accessed the codes on the LCD display and some got changed while we were trying to get out of it, and then the bike no longer work as expected. However, you can buy with confidence, this product is backed up by world class customer service as we found out! They went above and beyond to help us and effectively resolved our problem, they even provided a list of all codes and meaning just in case the problem happens again. The only cons is the time it takes to respond, if you are in the US you'll have to wait 24 hr before you get a response which is sadly still a better response time than some companies located here in the states. Do not buy from AVDL. We bought a bike for my son and it stopped working and their support is terrible. It takes them days/weeks to respond and now they have stopped responding to me altogether after their last suggested actions don’t work. I would recommend you avoid this bike and this company.

This bike really surprised me. It is built solid, it car mostly assembled already. It is easy to ride, very simple, just like riding a bicycle, but it is very powerful! Easy to charge, easy to operate. We had fun with this bike when we are camping. It is so fun! Good quality. Good value! It is much better than what I am expecting. Surprised me!     • We had issues but customer service came through
I purchased this bike for my 12 year old son for Christmas. We live in a colder climate so he could not use it until this spring. It worked awhile and then stopped. My son enjoyed the bike while it worked. Customer service first sent us trouble shooting vidoes and a new controller, which did not resolve the issue. Now they are sending us a new motor core and they have also stepped up and will honor the 12 month warranty. Fingers crossed the new part will fixes the bike, becasue my son does love this bike. It is a good size and speed for him, comfortable seat and overall cool looking bike. ... show more

I bought this bike for my son who is 15yrs old and he loves it !! It’s fast and yet sturdy ! It’s a great value for the money ! The battery doesn’t need charging daily either. It is heavy, but that is what helps it to stay sturdy. It’s great !
