Impressive backpack sprayer for the homeowner that wants to DIY. The Makita battery option was a plus for me. I own a set of Makita 18v hand tools and the battery worked perfectly, in addition to the supplied 2amph battery. I sprayed roughly a half acre of lawn care herbicide, surfactant and spray dye using the Vaxmay backpack sprayer. The tip selection is nice and the hose and wand seem sturdy, and should last if you take care of your equipment like I do. I really like the little clip for the wand at the top, which came in handy when putting on the sprayer (which is actually the most awkward process to use it). After filling the sprayer, I placed it on an elevated surface to get it on. Once on, the padding and straps are comfortable and gave me no issues. If you're looking for a backpack sprayer and dont want to spend the $200-$300 to buy a name brand, but are concerned about quality issues and longevity, BUY THIS ONE! Just arrived and it’s Amazing. Completely Exceeded my expectations. Easy to set up. I tested all the tips and used the one with 4 holes to spray my wood-line for mosquitos. It easily shot 20 to 25 feet up and out which is what I was hoping for. Tomorrow I will use the 2-headed fogger tip to treat the remainder of my grass and patio area.     • Great backpack sprayer with a cheap flimsy extension wand!
Lightweight, very comfortable while using, easy to operate. Well built item! UPDATE Last night I tried the extension wand, this is where this sprayer failed! THE SECTIONS LEAK, no matter how tight I got it, it still leaked. So sad that everything else is so good and then they add a POS extension wand. I now have to see where I can find a quality extension wand that’ll work. Sorry for the late edit! This sprayer works great. I can change nozzles and change the power to spray tall trees or a fine mist to cover big area. So far best sprayer I’ve ever owned.

Bought one of these to start spraying the yard more regularly. Bought because it accepts a Makita battery, but the battery that comes with it, I would say could cover 40,000 ft2. I've sprayed probably at least 65,000 ft2 so far, no leaks no issues.

    • Doesn’t work straight from the box
Doesn’t work! Out of the box - tested with water only and it won’t spray…. Something runs - maybe the pump but no pressure- tried pulling filter etc to get pump to prime but doesn’t spray. Instructions are absolutely useless and make no sense. This isn't a makita 18 volt style battery either but one that looks like it and uses a separate charger cord which I don’t want, I am sick of multiple chargers and trying to stay with the Makita charger/battery system so it is simple to charge and no extra plug ins.. Another Chinese junker from amazon. Amazon return here we go…. ... show more
