I purchased this for use in my vegetable garden for a home-made spray using a kaolin clay solution . Thought at first the 2-gallon size would be too large but it's not not; especially if you'd like to mix up a gallon of solution, there's extra room to shake up. When the handle is pumped, it creates pressure inside. The handle in locked with a twist, and the spray lever on the handle and removable spray tips enables one to direct the spray with either a jet stream or wide spray, and with plenty of gusto! When I bought this less than a year May 13, 2021 it was 39.95. I thought that purchasing Husqvarna would eliminate the yearly pump spray repurchase as it has a 5 year warranty. It assembled easily, it sprayed and within 3 months the hose end attached to the sprayer handle had collapsed into a 270 degree kink. The reason is that they did not design a connector with a heavier kink resistant collar, removed it and was going to cut away the 3" with the kink eliminating the need for warranty hassle. Can not be done only the whole assembly from the tank to the on-off spray handle can be replaced. Now I see why this happened in the second place was that the wand holder and tip restraint at the base of the unit places the hose at a nasty angle, not a good design. When it worked it was great, when I tried to get the part to fix it I was told I would have to take it to a service center. The closest service center that repairs these, if and when they can get a part is about 100 miles round trip, takes 2 weeks minimum and then you have to go back to pick it up. I have a Prius and with these restraints on warranty I would be better off buying a new (different brand) every year. Buy one where you can replace it at the local Walmart if it fails because 30 days for replace or return is not enough for this item. Update, I have found a semi-local service center that is willing to find the parts and ship them to me at my expense which is still cheaper than the gas. ... show more
