They are the perfect size and comfortable in your hand, not too heavy at all and feel sturdy. Honestly, I was shocked when I saw it was a “frequently returned item”. I ordered a set of these glasses in January of 2022 and loved them! The glass on the left of my photo is from this original set. We lost a few here and there in the almost 2 years we’ve had them because kids and general accidents… it’s expected with glass items. I decided to order another set to make up for the loss and also have some extras. I found my previous order and ordered the exact same glasses - these glasses. They arrived and I was afraid to even open the box because I could hear broken glass. Three out of the ten arrived completely shattered. Amazon gave me a full refund and told me not to send them back, so I was happy to receive seven essentially free glasses. Then I compared them. The new set is considerably lighter and you can see from my photo that they are thinner. The bottom of the glass is much thinner and the glasses are shorter. I don’t think this second set will last long because they seem very fragile. I’m quite upset and wondering how the same product can be so significantly different? I’m kind of relieved that they arrived broken because I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price for these clearly lower quality glasses. I’m afraid to even order again in case I get the low quality glasses again.

We needed to replace our daily drinking glasses. I prefer the tall, slender, thin glass European style, however department stores don't exist anymore and Target doesn't carry them, so I was left to searching on Amazon. All the reviews for the style I like said they were very thin, arrived broken, didn't last. I decided to give these a try. I've had them for about 2 weeks and they go through intensive daily wear in our family - from breakfast through dinner and night time water glass. They've been hand washed, dishwasher washed (daily), and have survived being knocked over. I have to say I really like them. Pros - sturdy, durable, easy to clean (because of wide top) and look and feel like they will last. Cons - very heavy (note if you have young children, these might be too heavy). They are your typical bar pint glass - solid drinking glasses. Arrived in perfect condition. I wouldn't call them elegant for your celebration dining table, but for every day family use they're ideal.
