Don’t recommend this item
Don’t recommend this unit. After pumping approximately 1.5 gallons of Glyphosate weed killer, the pump stopped working. After calling product support at Chapin, I was informed that the pump needed lubricating. And that I should read the Manuel on how to do that. My question is, why would a brand new pump need lubricating within a 1.5 gallon of spray in a 4 gallon backpack? I have used cheap backpack sprayers that the pump has never failed and has never needed lubricating. The reason I bought this one is because of the higher quality hose and spraying wand. I’ll be going back to Harbor Freight and buying their 4 gallon backpack sprayer that will last 2-3 years. No lubricating needed! P.S. I have even stored weed killer and insecticide in the container of these cheaper models with no adverse effects. Don’t recommend this one! ... show more

Good value
Well packaged and works well with a water test. Only problem was that the shoulder strap harness was incorrectly installed which was causing the cross body strap to be twisted. Easily resolved by removing straps and installing on correct side.
