After mounting and inserting a bulb I noticed I could not get the bulb back out because the socket was loose. If this happens remove the top 3 screws to gain better access to the loose socket. This allowed me to get enough finger pressure on the ceramic socket to remove the bulb and reassemble the socket to the post. Yes I tried to remove the nut in the rear. It was too tight and I could not get a grip on the post even with vice grips. Overall the quality is good though. Slightly different translucent color than the one I bought a year ago though.
