Easy Setup, Heavy gauge metal, Securely hold you valuables and it's accessories that needs to be kept from inquisitive young hands and as long as it is bolted down I feel like it could stand up to some abuse if it came to it. For some reason it didn't like my older Wifi access point I use for all my IOT and home automation, but I put it on my main network and it has worked flawlessly. With the app on your phone it will alert you someone tampers with the fingerprint sensor or keypad, unplugs, or even jostles the unit. Lots of configurable options like whether and how long the interior light comes on when you open it, an alert that goes off if you leave the door open too long, and a remote (included) that can be hidden to open the unit from a distance. It can run for months on the included rechargable battery but it stays connected to Wifi so you get the fastest response when left plugged in with the included usb charger/cable although any usb power supply could be used. For extra protection I added a window sensor from my alarm provider to the door so it also trips the house alarm (and monitoring will call the police) if the door is opened while the alarm is in away mode which I would never do under normal circumstances. I can also push and hold it's test button to intentionally trigger the house alarm if for some reason it is not already triggered. I loved it so much I bought into the ecosystem and got their mobile unit also with fingerprint sensor so I have similar protection when secured in the car and when I travel. Their small mobile units don't have Wifi yet but it will alert you of tampering when you return and open the unit. They recommend registering multiple fingers multiple times and there are plenty of slots to do so and that works well, I find it recognizes your finger even if it is not perfectly aligned and regardless of orientation. More importantly it has rejected any fingerprints that are not registered (I've had several friends try). Wish List: Lithium Ion batteries instead of Alkaline in the mobile units, They already have a USB port for backup power to use the code or fingerprint sensor if the battery is dead. Wifi features and notification on the mobile units. My cars, any Hotel I'd stay in, and Second home all have Wifi and USB power nearby. Integrate Wifi units with home automation like Google Home or Alexa so it could trigger routines. Integrate Wifi units with home security systems like Nest, ADP or Simplisafe via API. Set profiles to specific codes and/or fingerprints i.e. If I open the unit with a certain fingerprint or code disable the light and door open alert so you don't reveal my position should that need arise. Never-the-less I highly recommend this safe for it's intended purpose and the Fingerprint Reader and Wifi are not a gimmick and easily worth the premium. ... show more

    • Expensive, but great product.
Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Pros: - Battery lasts several months between charges even with daily use. - capacity for overall size is great I bought 2 more inserts and it can now easily hold 6 full sized pistols and 8 mags. - Number pad is easy to find in the dark and works every time. - It has a huge amount of features that can be enabled or disabled easily to customize and get exactly what you want. (Motion alarm, tamper warning, ECT) - Finger print scanner is accurate, no problem with false opens. Also allows for up to 20 finger prints. - You have 2 Master codes and then can set even more codes. - The phone app allows you to monitor battery life and access a log of every open or attempt to open. It even shows what time and what code or fingerprint was used. Cons: - Unless bolted down someone could still pick it up and walk off with it. (This would trigger the motion alarm though) - It is not fireproof - The finger print scanner is VERY accurate. This means since I work in a kitchen will a lot of oil it won't open for me half the time. (The code is my go to if I NEED it open, also works almost every time with my sister and mother). ... show more

    • Very spacious and high tech safe. Recommended despite price.
This is a great and spacious safe. Set up is easy and straight forward. However, be warned, the key sometimes catches before going in all the way and it turns giving you the impression that you have opened the lock but nothing happens. The key needs to be inserted COMPLETELY before turning. Honestly, you are unlikely to use the key much, but it is essential to open the safe in the first place to insert the battery. Now, going back to the safe. There is quite a bit of room. I inserted three of their foam racks. The racks hold full size guns well. My 1911s fit well. The only gun that I would put in upright is my FN 45 Tactical. Depth for the FN is fine but the sights are tall and would only fit I removed the shelf drawer. The shelf drawer is great and I did not want to remove it. I have magazines and two pocket carry weapons on the drawer shelf. Overall, I am very happy with the safe. It is on the pricey side, but seeing the other stuff out there, I would say “You get what you pay for.” ... show more
