I normally don't do reviews, but I had to make an exception for these, these barstools are incredible, very versatile, beautiful and sturdy. Easy to clean and comfortable. I am a little overweight so it is hard to find furniture that keeps me comfortable for longer periods and these did the job! Amazing 🏆 I think I'll be ordering 2 more.

These bar stools replace an old costco set which was pretty solidly built but was showing its 10+ yrs of age in terms of peeling PU cushion and some scratches on the body. That one was also steel frame all around the seat and back just as this one but was quite think and heavy and it did damage the granite top on our kitchen counter when the seat back hit the top when rotating to get off and stool. Because of that reason I like the somewhat slender look of steel trim on this one but need to keep an eye on how it holds up in normal use (or abuse). Overall it looks much better compared to the old one and cushion is quite comfortable to sit for longish time (usually under an hour) Was easy to assemble and arrived very nicely packed in a somewhat compact box. dimensions and min/max rise is accurate as described in product details. Taking out 1 star because for me both the stools don't stay at set height. Its like if you are using the stools fairly regularly you wouldn't notice but if I set a stool to a certain height and don't use it for like 24 hrs, it rises up an inch - not too much but noticeable. This is not a deal breaker and honestly lot of folks who use these more frequently then I do will never notice. I am still happy that I snagged these as free sample and retired the costco ones

The Bar Stool Set by Vatros, is a nice middle ground between quality and cost that will provide a very functional set of bar stools that look and perform well. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – They’re good quality for this level of cost wit nice PU leather, adjustability and functionality. However, some of the trim pieces are plastic and a little cheap (like around the gas pole and around the seat). These pieces make me question their longevity, but the rest of the stool feels like it should hold up well. II. Performance – They work great so far with smooth motion both vertical and horizontally. The seats are comfortable and the PU leather feels nice to sit on. I found the level of padding to be sufficiently comfortable for a mildly long sit, but they start to get uncomfortable after a fair amount of time. For me its basically comfortable for about an hour. The chrome surface looks great, but is a little prone to scratches and marks. Overall, this is great middle ground set of stools that look and perform great, and will provide a good level of value for what you’re getting. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. These are really nice looking stools. Easy to put together. The seat is pretty heavy duty and padded well. I am a little concerned about the longevity though. They feel just a very little bit lightweight in the base and a slight wobble. I do think the wobble improved after using them a handful of times so maybe the pole just needed to settle to the base more with weight on it. The piece that covers the area where the post connects to the base is a very cheap plastic which was disappointing. You don't really see it so it doesn't show how cheap it is. The other concern I have is the metal trim on the seat seams together on the side of both seats. It is not a tight seam and I feel like it will begin to fall off sooner than later. I tried to get a photo of it (last photo) but it is hard to capture in a photo. I do hope it doesn't come off.
