I was surprised by the quality. The price was quite a bit cheaper and so I was worried that the product would reflect that but it definitely does not. With a solid metal sconce metal, mounting plate and strong thick straightened cord, it is a beautiful product. The head swivels as well as the arm and they both at the moment feel very secure and tight. I'm not worried about them not being able to hold the position that I put the light in. They also are such a great size to the proportion of a typical nightstand size. Some other products I had bought were quite large or hung out quite a ways from the nightstand. I worry that that would get in the way of usage or be something I hit when getting into bed. But these are such a great size and are so aesthetically pleasing. Great modern look and would recommend to anybody. I will also add that packaging was spot on and everything came in perfect condition! Could not be more pleased with this product.

The VATONI Plug in Wall Sconces, Dimmable Wall Sconce that I ordered is great. It's stylish, comes with a nice lightbulb, is dimmable, and is very easy to install. Installation was simple: we drilled holes in the wall and used the included mounting hardware (screws and anchors) to attach it. They also included extra hardware in case of any problems, but our hardware was all good. Then we plugged it in... voila! Beautiful lamp next to the bed, no hardwiring required. I like this so much I bought a second one. At this price (currently about $30 for one, $58 for a two-pack) you can't go wrong. This gets five stars from me.

Nice brushed brass color, simple elegant design, a large range of light intensities. The clear color of cord and switch is plus! The lowest light is excellent for kids' night light, the middle to high range is good for bed time reading, the highest light is not enough for bathroom. Extensive light bulb positions are provided by three movable parts. One of the sconce light had a limited swing range on arm (about 135 degrees) and the tip of head can't be move (the good one can move 90 degrees).

For the price point these lamps are nicer than one might expect. The downside is the rather unattractive translucent power cord, but that's a minor quibble. What you get is a nice brassy gold pair of lamps with lots of articulation. And bulbs, to boot. The finish is consistent across each element of the lamps, with no flaws or discolouration. It's a consistent brass / gold finish...leaning towards an orangey brown rather than a bright yellow. The inside of the cowls are white. The lamps will swing left to right, pivoting at the mounting canopy, and then will rotate at the end of the arm. The cowl itself can then be moved up and down, so you have plenty of movement with these lamps. There is an on / off switch on the canopy which also operates as the dimmer, then another on / off switch on the power cord too. Supplied are two Edison bulbs, dimmable and with a standard e26 thread. Both worked as advertised, without flicker or delay and with a good range when dimming. Mounting / installation is a simple procedure and offers you the option to remove the power cord and hardwire them, or install as is - rawl plugs, screws and a mounting bracket are supplied. These sit perfectly flush to the wall, locked into position with nuts on the canopy face plate. An attractive and stylish pair of sconces for not much money at all, that arrive with plenty of padding in their packaging.

I have the gold globe lights, perfect for a bedroom with only a ceiling fan light. theses are heavy and come with mounting hardware, extra nut for the screws to attach light to base plate, wire connectors or caps, drywall anchors, adhesive cord clips, and 2 LED edison type bulbs. The instructions are clear for plug in mount, I did not check the hard wire instructions. You attach the back plate to the wall, then attach the lamp to the plate with the 2 nuts. The dimmer switch is also on the wall mount, so you don't have to grope down the cord to find it. The on/off rocker switch is almost halfway down the cord. The cord is clear. The lamp itself swivels from side to side, and the globe moves up and down to straight out to straight down. The listed measurements are fairly accurate. The information states the cord and light socket are UL listed, I saw the designation on the bulb socket. The dimmer works, the bulb is quite bright.

These lamps look just like the pics. They are minimalist, shiny and bright and work well next to our beds, since they have a dimmer. They were easy to install and the cord mostly blends into our white walls so this was a bonus. Other reviews commented on the clear cord, but I think it's the best color choice if you are going to have a visible cord and it does not look unattractive in our room.
