I did not include a photo because the ad copy does a sufficient job. The are a generous number of these clamps in the package and they grip the tarp very well. I have put these to use securing the tarp over my pontoon boat. There are fierce winds that whistle across the water and shake loose most other style of tarp clamps that I have used in the past. So far, I have had none pull loose. A word of caution though... These clamps are very good at hanging on to the tarp. So good in fact that the clamp may tear the tarp in a strong wind rather than let go. In many cases this can be avoided if you are able to apply the clamp to an enforced area of the tarp ... show more

If you use a tarp for anything you know there is always a need for another grommet. Well here ya go. These work great for all them loose flappy sections of your tarp. Just screw these on hand tight and presto, you have another anchor point. The teeth on these seem to hold well and its great to get them loose spots secured. Now as long as you don't expect these ( or the tarp for that matter) to hold up to 100 mph winds you will be golden. These are really very handy and should work with any material you can clamp them on. Two snaps up! ... show more

I use tarps to cover stacks of firewood that I store outside. (One of these days I should build a woodshed.) The tarps have to be tied in place to keep them from blowing away, and that's kind of a pain. I use small carabiner clips hooked through the grommet holes in the tarps so I don't have to untie a knot every time I want to get some firewood, but still I'm constrained to hooking these wherever there happen to be grommets in the tarp. With these clips I don't have to worry about where the grommets are. I can attach a rope anywhere on the edge of the tarp, and this makes for a much neater arrangement of ropes and tarps. And it's easy to open and close these clips when I want to get some firewood, even with gloves on. I love these things! ... show more
