I just put a new tarp on my 10 X 10 canopy frame and these tarp clips made the fit so much better. I put them in between the grommets so I got a tight fit. It gets windy almost every afternoon where I live so getting a strong fit is essential. The clips are strong and you can get a good grip on the tarp. It’s the first time I’d used these and wish I had known about them years ago. I don’t camp anymore but these would come in so handy for that. These are a good product to have around. I would definitely buy them again.

If you do any work with tarps or other coverings (canvas, etc), you need these in your life. I don't know how long these have been around, but I'm unhappy it took this long for me to find them. You can basically cover anything perfectly with these. You don't need to worry about your ropes or bands holding the cover down, and you don't have to fool with those useless eyelets in the sides of most covers. You can fold the cover to whatever dimension you need it to be, and then use this to set up your tie points. They take about 5 seconds to install, you throw a bowline knot in, and you're good to go. You can now secure any covering on anything with no worries about the tarp escaping the tie-downs. I hope this was helpful - if you ever, ever put tarps on anything, you need these. Like right now.

I have both plastic and canvas tarps for my 5 x 8 utility trailer. There are times when I am running up to the cabin or to the compost site with a load of leaves or brush when I need to put one of these tarps on the trailer to keep things from flying out. The tarps have gussets installed but their spacing is different and therefore I cannot really install hooks on the trailer that match them. That is where these Vashly thumb screw tarp clamps come in very handy. I am able to attach these to the tarps exactly where they are needed. At first, I was a little leery that they would not hold onto the tarp while I was going down the road because I haven’t had much luck with tarp clips in the past. But these Vashly tarp clamps are different. They hold tight onto the tarp without ripping it! I am extremely happy with them. After outfitting my two trailer tarps with these I still have quite a few left over. I will be using these on the tarps covering my wood piles and other things around the cabin. For around a dollar a piece this is a very nice product!!
