Needed something to stack my Addidas out of the way. I wear a size 6-8 shoe depending on the brand anything bigger won’t work if that’s what you want to use it for. There’s a ledge in the back that probably helps with supporting the structure so if you remove it to fit your shoes it will probably be weaker. I had to screw in everything manually because the Alan wrench isn’t a standard size to fit the electric screw driver we have. So that wasn’t fun 😅. The directions are pretty good and once you figure out the first section, it’s pretty repetitive. Towards the end their is a type of screw that connects the sections together- it’s a little too big and it cracked the top layer of paint/ fake wood but you won’t be able to see it with the finished product so it doesn’t really matter. Overall satisfied with the purchase, just might be a bit pricier than it should be. Hope this helps! ... show more

Great shelves once you’re done building them. If you think you’ll be able to use a power drill, you’re wrong. The screw beds are an odd shape so I was forced to use the small little tool to build it. It wasn’t difficult to figure out but extremely tedious. 2 person job for sure.
