This is very beautiful. My daughter has had this for over a year now and it’s still not irking good. From time to time she just has to tune it. She loves it. Used for 5th grade and 6th grade orchestra.

It serves the purpose I bought it for, which is to introduce my daughter (7yr old) to violin. For those who can't seem to tune it, easiest thing would be to take it to a professional and have them do it. But if you're like me, here is a tip. The tuning pegs arent like most guitars. These hold tension by being wedged into place. I had to push each peg in place with substantial pressure, then tighten the string for it to hold the tune. That being said, it is a balance between the tuning pegs, the bridge and even the string tensioners, which is a bit frustrating. I'll be looking into children's lessons for her, and hope the teacher can help with setup regularly. If my daughter likes violin, I'll definitely buy a higher quality instrument

My 4th grader wants to join the orchestra at school. I was searching for the better deal. TODAY I found it. Set comes with all you need to start. Shinny black light weight . Beautiful, comes with Chin rest, sholder rest extra strings even resin. A very well made piece with bow. The case is a backpack style with a hand carry or sholder carry. We needed a tuner this came with that. Helped tremendously!!! Really wonderful full set 😍. She absolutely loves it. To rent was 4 times the amount were we live. I can't say enough about it.

My 9 year old started a violin program. The first one we received the sound post had fallen out. This company was absolutely amazing in doing an exchange! The second violin came in and is amazing!!! No issues at all in getting the exchange and very happy!!! Thank you!!

Edit: I replaced the string that broke, and have been able to play the violin for a few days. The strings that come as replacements were very short and I couldn't string them. Ultimately bought new strings and they helped. For the price point I am feeling better than I was on receipt. Tuning is better and requires only minor adjustments. I'm also pleased at the customer service I received. While I am unsure if I would recommend it, I don't feel like the initial review was completely accurate of my ongoing experience. Original notes: Body feels cheap, won't tune out of the box and G string broke straight away.
