Living in South Georgia, it doesn’t cold enough for a fireplace often enough, so we decided to get this insert. Coming home from a 10 hr workday and being able to click a button and have a glowing fire 🔥 is so relaxing - even if it’s not cold! We don’t use it for heat, but it does blow hot air. Doesn’t sound realistic like other reviews said, but we don’t use the sound either. Having an insert also leaves us with the option if we ever want to take it out and build a real fire we can. We have really enjoyed it and love looking at the flickering fire and have no regrets with this purchase. All we had to to do to install was take out of box, slide in the fireplace and plug it in.

This fireplace is awesome, once installed… if you want a truly nice finish like this it’ll take a lot of work, but it’s doable. One thing to note: this does not have the clip on front glass so that you can secure it to the wall, it will have to be fit to the hole and placed with hidden shims. Overall happy, I have young kids, so it being secure was crucial to me. The noise is stupid, the fan itself sounds better than that. It’s comparable to a kids baby toy toilet sound. Overall, really happy with it, the led and the flame, log, etc are all really nice. Last bit, the glass is removable, I saw some complaints above, remove the 3 small screws on each side and it comes off for cleaning, however once installed in the wall your kinda SOL.

It’s definitely worth buying! I wasn’t using my old fireplace and this has been a great addition to our home. We don’t use it much for heat. The crackling sound should have a volume setting but overall it was worth buying.

Nice addition to the look of existing fireplace. It does provide some heat but not enough to heat the size of this living. Christmas tree and glowing logs will make a pretty picture on Christmas Eve and day. 🎄

LOVE this fireplace!! Purchased this due to no heat source in my living room, and my only baseboard heater in my bedroom couldn’t keep up with the whole house. I did a lot of research. This fireplace keeps me super toasty even when I have it on LOW!! Best investment!! The only downside is this, the “fire crackling” noise is horrible. It sounds like static on a radio with bad reception. I just turn it to silent and use crackling wick candles to get the whole wood burning fireplace feel. Easy solve. I bought it primarily for the heat output. I am extremely satisfied!!

Have not used the heat much, one thing I like is it’s not an intense heat, just warms the room. Adds so much atmospheric to our family room.

Looks great, works as expected. The remote is a little wonky at times. The big dislike from the family is the crackle generator, the speaker is too small and the sounds are too loud and that makes it sound more toy like, but we just leave it off.
