This tank is durable thick plastic. It has molded in metal lugs for attaching pumps and mounting to a base. The cap is also heavy gauge plastic and is easy to secure with no leaking. You can’t go wrong if this is the size tank that you are looking for.

I brought this Valley Industries 15 gallon water tank awhile back and since then I have installed it on the bottom of my food truck as an extra water supply for emergencies. I have no complaints, it's very beefy and sturdy. I built a platform off the frame just for it to sit on and put a protective covering to keep from road debris from hitting it. I also ran an secondary water pump and have it connected to a switch if I need to transfer the water from this one to my main water tank and it's been a great addition. I also added an heat element to keep the water warm if there's freezing weather. And so far so good, I'm still building out my food truck but it's ready to handle whatever I may throw at it. It's very easy to use, it's very versatile, really nice appearance with a beefy look, leakage proof, and the overall size and design of it fitted perfectly under the food truck. No issues. Pump mounted perfectly. Not in the docs… #10 3/4” or 1” screws needed to mount pumps. A label or mentioning in a manual entry would have been nice.

I purchased two of these to use as fresh water storage and transport tanks for my offgrid vacation property. I drilled the center depression to fit a boiler drain valve and use garden hose fittings to connect the tank to a diaphragm pump. The tanks have held up well to sun, winter, and frequent use. They are easy to clean out through the lid, have a drain plug for winter, and stand up well to being moved either empty or full. These were half the cost of what I would have been able to buy in a farm store. They don't impart any smell or taste to the water. I don't drink out of them, but I use them for washing dishes, showering, etc. ... show more

Used it as a replacement for a spot sprayer set up I got from everyone's favorite tool importer store with the letters H and F....due to lack of storage, I have to leave it outside, and here in Phoenix, Arizona, USA...the sun beats the snot out of plastic stuff outside, and the old one just got brittle and developed many cracks. I also built a boom sprayer set up for it, replaced the tiny pump with a much bigger one, and hung the whole thing off the back of my tractor, so I really didn't want all the other parts from HF just to get a new tank. This was a much cheaper option, that had all the same mounts in the same places, so it was almost "plug and play". One thing to keep in mind is that it didn't have a precut hole for the intake hose, but for my uses, it was actually a plus as I put it in a different place anyways, so I didn't have to plug an unused hole. ... show more

Perfect replacement for my Agri-Fab 15-gallon pull behind sprayer. Pump and wand clips screwed right on. Used Lashing straps instead of bolts to prevent tank from cracking at bolt locations.
