I needed something for aquascaping and feeding my shrimps in my first 10 gallon tank, and I've had these for over a year now, no issues with rusting! However I do wipe them off immediately between uses so I suppose I take care of them quite well! One major issue I have with these is that they need to be gripped insanely hard at times to keep what I'm holding within the pincers. My hand is often sore after a tank cleaning day (I have a 10 gallon). So I wouldn't say they're the most comfortable to use, that's why I took one star away, because of the ease of use. However, the tongs are quite easy to keep clean, and the functionality is unmatched. I don't really use the hooked tongs, but the straight tongs get every job I need done since I've gotten them a year ago. Overall satisfied with my purchase :)

Got an aquarium? Find yourself moving, removing, placing or anything like that on a regular basis?You need these. Beats the heck out of getting your whole arm wet. I've got a standard 20gal tank & my fingers are the only part of me that get wet. These are priced fairly, are made well & get used often. A good purchase.
