I purchased this after comparing many similar items. the things I wanted were: 1) Powerful suction 2) Removable suction tray for cleaning 3) Easy to use 4) Multiple functions 5) Internal roll storage and cutter 6) A spot to store External vacuum hose storage inside the machine While most of the machine have several of these items this was one of the few that had all those wants and was on sale to boot. Very easy to use. The built in bag cut is something I never had on other machines and I would definitely recommend getting that on a machine. The locking handle is Great! Definitely makes sealing the bags a lot easier and get a perfect seal every time. Just those two features alone are worth the extra money. This vacuum sealer is working way better than my old one , it’s more like professional vacuum sealer , faster and better , sealed properly and never failed. I used to owned one over one and half years , it took about 30 seconds to vacuum and seal , sometimes it failed , leaking air immediately or not sealed properly. This one is working perfect , super easy to use, only took less than 10 seconds to finish the vacuum and sealed and never leaking air , the best part is have cutter built in , very useful and convenient for me. This vacuum sealer is the BEST Sealer I've ever owned! Lightweight, looks great, seals great. It's easy to use and the 5 year free replacement warranty can't be beat. Great value. I absolutely love it. It's easy to use and had good features like different vacuum settings depending on the food being vacuumed. I love the handle feature, makes it even easier to use. Has a built in cord for use with canisters, especially good for liquids and food containers that you need to open then revacuum. No waste of bags when need to revacuum. Canisters are great for soup. Be careful when buying canisters, that they work with this machine. Only downside, they don't carry canisters, so have to look for ones that work with this vacuum sealer. I give the machine 4 stars cause of info about it. It’s a really good machine . The machine itself I give it a 5 star .Lacks info in manual and on their website. 1st it it’s simple to use it has storage for the cord . 2nd it has a liquid catcher on the bottom, so if it sucks in to much liquid it has a place to go . I like that and easy access and cleaning. It’s also has the canning line attachment,LINE ONLY ! No tool , in which it’s nicely concealed for storage behind the lock . This machine does a double seal , and the way it’s set up one would think you can pull the bag roll down and make the seal on the bottom and then cut it .. That’s not the case with this machine , the bag must be cut to seal the bottom . To explain it better .. 1st cut your bag to length then take it and seal the bottom . This machine does a 1st seal then does a small vacuum then does 2nd seal . So if you are over the vacuum area it won’t seal good cause vacuum pulls the plastic and creates a hole . The picture that’s says can not is what I’m talking about . The manual says if you’re having trouble cut bag 1st then seal it . The cutter works nice . If you use cheap bags you’ll have to control the sealer or it will melt holes in it. The bags they send are really good and thick , they tend to have a memory of the roll . This is my 1st review I’ve ever done so hope it helps also the machine is not super fast , but dose a really nice job for the money . I usually by meat in bulk cause it’s cheaper and vacuum pack it all . My only request for this company is if they could make attachments for the vacuum line and some well thought out vacuum storage containers . Plastic and glass , dishwasher safe microwave safe & glass to be able to bake in . Give you the idea like a container the size of a loaf of bread , we all hate stale bread! Catch my drift. forget about the ziplock vacuum bags ,vacuum only holds for a day or two if you’re lucky. Don’t care who’s brand it is! They ain’t worth the money. Okay I shut up now !
