I just love this bed frame! I got the "full" size, but it came as two separate frames that just snap up and into place. I used the provided hardware to screw the two pieces together, and voila! Instant full-sized bed. It was so simple to put together and literally took about ten minutes (and at least three of those was spent looking for a piece I had dropped on the floor!). I am using it in my spare room, but you could easily use one piece for a guest cot and keep it folded up in the closet. The legs just snap out and into place, add a mattress of some kind, and you're good to go. I love that you don't need a box spring with this. I just put a mattress on top, and it's super. I haven't put anything under it yet, but I have cats, and I am very comfortable with how sturdy this is (that it won't collapse on top of any kitty who decides to sleep under it). I see people reviewing that they have issues with the cross bars not being the correct length to reach across the width of the frame. YOU NEED TO FIND THE CENTER BAR FIRST AND SECURE IT, PULLING THE FRAME SLIGHTLY INWARD, THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO FIT ALL THE SMALLER ONES IN AFTERWARDS.

this was the first furniture i (5' girl with virtually no muscle lol) i built and i did it alone at that!! atp i think if i can do it, anyone can. it was relatively simple, the guide was very helpful, and everything fit perfectly (as long as u leave the screws to be tightened as the last step). def recommend!! it also stores all my luggage underneath very well - pro tip: i use a bed skirt to hide everything under and to look better with my sheets. i bought this for 65$ at the time n it looks + works as well as any other higher end bed frame 😎 W fr ... show more

Good height off floor and looks sturdy. Lot of parts to assemble, but not too difficult...pretty average for assembled furniture. It comes with an alan wrench ratchet which is nice (and will make it's way into the closet toolbox). Biggest question is how it will hold up to motion. There is no bracing, but it feels sturdy enough. However, the only thing holding mattress on is friction: from the weight of the occupant and some adhesive slats, which they only give enough for a few slats.
