They are similar to a roll-top desk but the doors roll horizontal rather than vertical. Seems strong and hides junk but the doors allow for full access to the contents when open. Inside shelves are 11” deep and the height is adjustable. I have a few baskets that I am using to hold stuff that might otherwise slide out. I like that it has two tones of wood so it contrasts nicely with oak or pine furniture. I got two of these in different sizes and have both in the office space to keep the office tidy and the top is great for displaying pictures and other things.

These are absolutely gorgeous! They are slightly darker than the really bright photos but they look amazing! The instructions are very precise and direct. If you have gapping issues with the doors I’ve found that raising the middle leg helps! PS when you apply the wax to the sliding rail for the door also apply to the door edges as well for extra glideability. Lots of storage space in a cute sturdy build.

It’s a nice looking piece of furniture that is extremely quick and easy to assemble. I’m a 55 yo female who enjoys building things, and this was zero challenge. To be fair, I’m also a nurse who can follow directions precisely, although the directions were also simple. Having experience with tambour doors, I waxed the tracks, waxed again and even rewaxed. Just when you think you have waxed tambour tracks enough, you haven’t, so wax one more time. I can’t stress this enough! I have a TV stand with tambour doors, which required the use of Slideez lubricant. If you really end up struggling, you can always purchase this on Amazon. It works wonders, you can apply with a Q-tip and you don’t need to use much. Be aware that lubricant and wax do not immediately make your doors slide effortlessly; mine have always slid easier the next day, so don’t get too frustrated if this is your biggest gripe. I do wish the doors met up flush. As you can see in the photos, there is a gap at the bottom that decreases upwards. I even tried swapping the doors around, but it made no difference. I saw another reviewer complain about the pattern on the doors. I didn’t notice immediately and can honestly say it’s much more noticeable in photos and video than in person, although there is no reason for such a difference. I am not looking for 100% identical since there is no real wood that is identical, but maybe they tried too hard to make them different? The other issue I ran into was the back side of one door. The wavy patterned door has slits in the backing that are so deep you can see the light from the other side. Other than that, the packing material kept everything safe with shipping. These slits in the backing appear to be a manufacturer defect IMO. I wish the 2 areas on each end were slightly wider to allow for a bit more storage. It does allow you to fit bottles of wine nicely in these areas. Overall I’m pleased with the looks and function of this cabinet. It’s exactly the look I was going for and the doors open easily for me. I caught this on a deal along with a $50 off coupon so I didn’t hesitate. I did purchase the warranty in the event I have any issues down the road.

This piece is beautiful and easy to build. It took my husband about an hour. It is very sturdy and the doors slide open and close pretty smooth. The inside shelves can be adjusted for desired height. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

The media could not be loaded. The cabinet was perfect for our purpose. It helped us store some items out of sight. The doors are a little difficult to slide and the wax provided was a bit dry so used some soap instead and it seems a bit easier.

The look of this cabinet is what I was going for - mid century modern. It fit my space perfectly and was easy to put together. Cons: materials are not the best and I'm not sure how long it will last. Overall, I'm pleased with it.

I do not recommend. Dont get me wrong, the furniture looks nice and was easy to build, thats why I gave it a star. The reason I do not recommend is because the doors are too difficult to slide open and close. You have to apply wax on the tracks to ease the sliding but I used most of it and its still difficult. The wax also leaves residue that you have to clean up. Unfortunatley this is something I learned after being built and wish I can just return this. Not practical for everyday use.
