I’ve had a frustrating experience with this device. Straight out of the box, it wouldn't boot when connected to battery. While it does show that it’s charging, the battery percentage constantly fluctuates and never stabilizes. On top of that, the performance is sluggish—apps lag, and basic tasks take longer than they should. The battery barely holds a charge even after long periods plugged in, making it practically unusable without being tethered to a charger. Overall, it’s been an incredibly disappointing product. I’m returning it and can’t recommend it based on my experience.

The media could not be loaded. I picked up the V40 PRO mostly out of curiosity and nostalgia, and I have to say—I'm seriously impressed. Right out of the box, this thing feels solid. The 3.5-inch IPS screen is surprisingly sharp and vibrant for a handheld in this price range, and the interface is clean and responsive thanks to the Linux system running under the hood. The best part, though, is the massive library. With 35,000+ games and support for over 36 simulators, it's basically a portable time machine. Everything from NES and SNES to PS1 and even some PSP titles run pretty smoothly. Sure, a few games need tweaking or don’t run perfectly (to be expected with this many systems), but the overall performance is great for casual retro gaming. Controls are decent—better than I expected—and very usable for longer sessions. The included 256GB TF card is already loaded, so you can just turn it on and start playing. Setup was zero hassle. If you're into retro games and want a pocket-sized console that doesn’t break the bank, the V40 PRO is a great pick. It’s not perfect, but for the price, it punches way above its weight.

Alright so this product is absolute garbage. I bought one which comes with a decent sized battery that can not hold battery life for more than 2 hours and yes it takes more than that to charge. But see it gets better as the same piece of trash died the second day and never turned back on. So Amazon sent me another which is just as bad as it's no better. So I'm working with two dead bricks. But when they did work, there were a ton of games that most people would not play and maybe 30 good games. It was slow and laggy. Save yourself the $50 and buy something, literally anything else

I picked this retro handheld console up and was instantly drawn to its massive collection of classic games. Some of the games have weird names and you may have to go by the pictures, but there is an insane number of games on this. It boots up fairly quickly, and navigating through the titles is simple and smooth. The screen looked clear and held up well even at odd angles. It’s compact and lightweight, so it’s easy to hold and toss into a bag for gaming on the go; battery life seemed decent, and overall it made for a fun, nostalgic escape that doesn’t demand a lot of setup or fuss. My only complaint was the screen protector was poorly fit for the screen.

Some of games doesn't allow you to save the progress. So, every time you play, you have to start from the beginning. The battery is also very short life. Wouldn't be able to return it because I waited too long to test it out.

It's cool that I have a huge selection of games but it's really frustrating when I fully charge it and then go to use it on a trip 2 days later and the battery is completely dead when I haven't even used it once. Absolutely doesn't hold a charge.
