The media could not be loaded. Packaging was neat and compact, which I appreciated. It made setting up easy and meant less mess and waste to deal with after. Inside, was all the necessary tools and accessories needed to make set up simple. I had the entire bike put together in around 15 minutes by using an electric air pump to inflate the tires to 35 psi. The main tasks were installing the front tire, both handlebars, the fender, kickstand, and making a few adjustments for comfort. Nothing complicated, and everything fit together cleanly. Don’t forget to remove the front spacer in the brake. Once I got the bike upright and on its kickstand, I honestly stepped back and thought how good it looks. The low stance immediately gives it a muscular, planted appearance. It’s got this confident presence that you usually don’t get with electric bikes. The color scheme, black with bold orange accents, is striking and feels thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. It manages to look tough without trying too hard. It gives me retro vibes whenever I see it. Build quality is one of the standout features. The steel frame is solid with smooth welds and a reassuringly rugged structure. With this though does come a little extra weight. The battery is integrated in a way that feels both intentional and aesthetically cool. It slides into place with precision and locks in with a really satisfying click. I’ve found myself removing it to charge just so I could slide it back into place; there’s something kind of retro-futuristic about it, like installing a power cell on a sci-fi vehicle. The steel framing around the battery gives it full protection, and there are reinforced elements all around, even a guard around the derailleur. As a larger rider, one thing I always look for is whether an e-bike will feel sturdy under real-world conditions, and this one absolutely does. The solid frame supports a stable ride at higher speeds or rougher roads. I feel completely confident in this bike’s durability over the long haul. The V40’s ride quality is where things really come together. The independent handlebar mount allows for excellent customization of riding position. I initially set the bars low and forward for a more aggressive stance but eventually pulled them back and raised them slightly for a comfortable, upright position that still lets me feel in control. That adjustability alone made a noticeable difference in comfort on longer rides. Performance-wise, this bike moves. Acceleration is smooth and responsive, and with it's powerful motor it’s easy to maintain a fast cruising speed without feeling unstable. The seat is one of the softest I’ve experienced on an e-bike, and it made a big difference in my ability to stay out longer without fatigue. This is one of those bikes where the pedals feel optional, you can cruise confidently without needing to work hard. The screen is another standout feature. It’s large, sharp, and extremely easy to read even in direct sunlight. I’ve had a lot of frustration in the past with screens that are dim or washed out outdoors, so I was pleasantly surprised here. The screen is mounted on its own bar, making it easy to tilt and adjust to your needs on the fly. Lighting is also excellent. The front headlight is a large, motorcycle-style unit with both high and low beam LED settings. It’s bright, focused, and definitely makes your presence known in lowlight. The rear taillight is equally bright and responsive, especially when the brakes are applied. But my favorite element here is the integrated turn signal system. Not only is it bright and visible to others, but it also includes indicator cutouts on the top so that you, the rider, can easily see if your signal is on. That detail alone is a game-changer, I used to be “that person” who forgot to turn mine off. Problem solved. Braking is handled by hydraulic Logan brakes, and they work beautifully right out of the box. There’s no squeal, and the response is immediate and smooth. I felt in full control during quick stops, and there was never any sense of instability. Another area where this bike shines is security. It includes a thoughtful built-in anti-theft system that’s more advanced than anything I’ve seen on an e-bike before. You get two NFC cards that can be used to unlock the bike without needing your phone, plus a key-activated battery lock. In addition to that, there’s a secondary “ignition-style” key near the shifter that adds another layer of protection. Everything feels precise and secure, from how the battery locks into place to how the controls function. The Movcan V40 delivers on performance, comfort, durability, and cool looks and I feel it was a great value for the money. Very happy with my purchase. Great deal!

I’ve been using the Movcan V40 electric bike for a couple of weeks now and overall, it’s been a great experience. The bike has strong acceleration and handles well on a variety of surfaces, including pavement, gravel, and packed dirt trails. The fat tires make it feel stable and secure even at higher speeds. The battery lasts a long time between charges. I’ve been using it for daily rides and haven’t had to charge it often. It’s convenient that the battery is removable so I can charge it inside without bringing the whole bike in. It arrived with some helpful accessories like a phone holder, lock, and a small tool kit, which made setup and initial use a little easier. Assembly took a bit of time, but nothing too difficult if you're familiar with basic tools. A few things to keep in mind: * The bike is heavier than standard bicycles, so it may be a bit challenging to lift or store in tight spaces. * It may take a ride or two to get used to the weight and size, especially if you’re switching from a smaller bike. So far it’s been reliable, and I’ve enjoyed using it for both commuting and recreation. If you're looking for a capable electric bike with a solid build and useful features, this one is worth considering.

I was really looking forward to this bike because it looked fun to ride, which it is. The seat is way more comfortable than my first electric bike and the speed gets up to 35 mph as advertised, which is nice. My neighbors don’t mind because It is so quiet while I’m riding it. Performs well so far. No front turn signals but other than that it’s a great bike. One major design flaw that I’m gonna point out though, which is why I’m giving this four stars. The left pedal hits my foot up against the kickstand and I have small feet so I can only imagine somebody with bigger feet than a size 8 1/2 in men’s. Thankfully, I’m not using this to pedal. I’m using it for the electric part since I have bad knees and won’t be doing much peddling, but I did notice when adjusting my foot to make a turn that my left foot hits the kickstand every single time.

Item arrived with missing turn signals. When assembled without signals we found front rim to be bent/defective and tire will not stay inflated. Both front and rear brakes squeal and stick making it dangerous for my son to ride as he has to manually push brake handle back up to use the throttle. Not made well at all.

The media could not be loaded. So let's start with the assembly. Box came in perfect condition, with no issues with the packaging. The assembly process took me about 20 minutes, it is really straightforward stuff. Just the front tire, the handlebars, and a few small parts to assemble. The battery was mostly charged already however it's recommended to fully charge before first use. The battery is awesome! 48v 25ah is getting me over 50 miles on just electric! The 1500 watt motor is powerfuI! I have some hills in the neighborhood and it climbs them with no issues! Also, if you pedal, you'll get over 80 miles off the battery. I've put over 600 miles on it with zero issues! The dual hydraulic brakes stop you fast! Even at max speed, you'll come to a stop fairly quickly! As far as the overall look of the bike goes, it's freaking awesome! I get compliments all the time from people. The bike is very sturdy! Nothing feels cheap! The buttons are well made, and the display is bright and vivid. I had a question and reached out to Movcan and they got back to me within 24hours and were very nice and helpful. I believe this bike is a great price. You are getting similar specs to other super expensive bikes at an affordable price! The ride is smooth and looks awesome! I'm happy I decided to give this brand and model a try, its been great and my neighbors ride it around too! I'm planning to buy another Movcan for a family member!
