Replaced this as part of a tuneup on an 89 TBI Chevrolet. I believe that since I purchased it, they have changed the description as to what this fits as now my vehicle is not listed. After doing my "tune-up" I started getting a check engine light. It was surging while idling, occasionally would sputter under load, and sometimes even stop running while driving. The OBD1 codes pointed towards the throttle body, so I spent a good amount of time diagnosing and troubleshooting it. After replacing some other things and still having issues, I read more into the reviews and saw others were having a problem with this cap and rotor. As a hail mary, I ordered the AC Delco cap and rotor and replaced it. All of my troubles went away and the engine has better power again. I'm guessing the uxcell cap/rotor was throwing timing off to the point it would shut down sometimes. I doubt it works any better on the years they updated because they are basically the same engine as my 89. You may want to splurge on a good brand to save yourself a headache. ... show more
