I purchased this distributor to replace my points style distributor on my 1974 Chevy 350 K10 truck. It looks like a quality part and it installed with no issues. It fired right up in my truck and the idle and throttle response is like day and night compared to the factory points unit...What a HUGE difference! I couldn't be happier with it so far. I will do an update review after I run it for a while. I think BRAVE X has there stuff together. Very well packaged as well and next day delivery. The only thing I don't quite understand is the warranty, On the amazon description it say's 5 year/100,000 mile warranty but the card that came with my distributor says 2 years? I'm not sure what it is. But at any rate it's a nice looking part at a great price that performs perfectly! I would highly recommend to others...     • Faulty but easy fix

There was a fault in my coil pack. The black lead is grounded to the core of the coil and another contact from the core to the center tap on the cap. The fault is they painted the core the leads can’t make contact. I scraped the paint off of the top and bottom of the contact area. It works perfectly now. ... show more

Bought this because I needed a dumb distributor to have my SBC broke in on an engine Dyno because it was too much work to bring my Sniper/Hyperspark system. Was a tight fit with the intake but they were able to get it to 20° initial and 34° full advance. 575hp at 6300 with a 650cfm carb I'd say this is probably good enough for just about any street motor without computer control. ... show more

HEI Module died after 9 months causing an intermittent spark issue that left me stranded. Replaced module and truck fired right up. Buyer beware of cheap electronics
