Installed in my 1979 ford bronco 400ci motor, it brought the engine to life with a lot more spark then the factory distributor. And it is very easy to setup and install. Just make sure you have your motor turned to TDC, with both valves closed in a compression cycle... If you get popping through the carburator then you are 180° out of time. Pull the distributor and turn the rotor to the spark plug directly across from the spark plug you started with as #1, it will fire up!! Or you can pull the distributor and turn the crank 1 rotation back to 0 TDC and push the distributor back down and it will be ready to go. 💯 💯 It also looks awesome under the hood and makes the die hard Ford guys angry to see GM products under the hood 😂😂 ... show more

    • It doesn't fit the engine hole for the distributor
this says in the amazon description that it will fit my 1965 mustang with a 289 engine. It doesn't fit, therefore I cannot install it. Amazon is making it seem like i cannot return it

Even though the description is there, these fit 302 351 429, they did fit my 351c 2v and look nice, still my question is if my crank pulley is 9" how will a 5" pulley work, it will spin faster, waterpump and alt are they going to work harder, or are they going to wear faster, i don't know, seems these parts are designed to spin at a certain rate, we will see, but shipped over night as promised fit nice and looks good ... show more

    • Got this part in good time and it was exactly what I was expecting and more.
I like the part where the plug wires was an added attraction. Woke my old 77 Ford F350 up, while eliminating parts that were built in the distributor. Best thing they ever came up with.

The shaft was bent and his truck did not run rite so had to return it was not happy with it at all

Put on my 1979 ranchero with a 351m I believe I had to have the Cap replaced but this review is like 7 months after I got it so I don't remember if it was my fault or theirs but they sent me a new one free. And it's still working perfectly
