I purchased this low pressure electric fuel pump to replace a non-working vacuum pulse pump on a 150cc gy6 cart engine. FIRES RIGHT UP!! I may be missing something, but I'm not sure why so many people fool with the vacuum pump replacements. Bolt it down, ground it, find a key switched +12v wire, attach it, and your done.... I installed this pump to replace a small vacuum pump that could barely lift the fuel from tank level to the carb. It transformed my 24 HP lawn tractor into a more powerful machine. I was worried about the output pressure as it was a bit higher than the OEM pump, but it worked great. The downside is that it failed after 20 months in what I believe is a very benign use environment -- pumping fuel up about a 6" vertical lift from tank to carb. Over the 20 months, I would estimate that it pumped just under 200 gallons. I ordered another one as a replacement as I had custom made a bracket to mount it on the front frame of my lawn tractor and wanted to reuse this mounting. I had purchased a gas transfer kit for $100 last year - and the little pump didnt last. I attached the hoses to this pump, and it transferred the gas from the bottom of my boat tank up and out - at about 2 gallons per minute. Great little replacement pump.

This one was a bit high on price. In my case this pump was NOT the problem . I also do not feel I should have to write a review, if I don't want to, as I believe this is made in communist China, and with all the covid dilemma we have had sent our way + the prices becoming as expensive as American products, be sure to shop around,and be careful regarding the companies ratings by reading customers reviews prior to purchasing to find the best deal. Most pumps like this are warranted for only 1 year anyway. ... show more
