I've had this for a while and never washed it because idk how to. I just noticed it's machine washable so does that mean I can put it in the wash like usual? The blanket is awesome. 10 stars so soft!

I bought this a few months ago when my last weighted blanket split open. This one is great - I weighed it and it is the 20 pounds it is supposed to be. Both sides are very soft. My one complaint is that one of the sides does catch on my heels when they are dry, which is so gross and gives me the heebie jeebies. It's the same sensation as a microfiber cloth against dry skin. Then again, I have a lot of sensory sensitivity. I had to just turn it over, which I think is the opposite of how it is supposed to be, but it works great that way.

Initially, I was uncertain about using the weighted blanket. I thought of using it only downstairs while watching NFL or my shows instead of my wife's shows. However, it turned out to be so warm and comfortable that I'm glad I recorded the game because I fell asleep quickly. It also helps with my anxiety and shaky legs. Both my wife and daughter commented on how soft the blanket felt. My wife has even taken it upstairs a few times, despite having another brand of weighted blanket that is starting to leak beads. But she can't have mine, haha. Sharing is caring, but not when it comes to my new friend and comforter! It's perfect for the cooler weather and a must-buy. You can use both sides of the blanket depending on your mood and the atmosphere. Haha! Thank you and A++++

I absolutely love this blanket. It's warm, comfy and, at 20lbs, perfect weight for me. I sleep so soundly with it. The beads roll some but easily moved back into place and it doesn't shed. I highly recommend this!

cleaning, not so much. needless to say I have decided its w orth just buying a new one every so often, this is my second one. good luck putting a 20lb [dry] blanket in a conventional wash machine, and the ones at the laundry mat are great but there is no happy medium drying these either. you are either going to burn it or its going to be a little wet and you need to somehow hang dry a now 40-50 lb wet weighted blanket. so, they are kinda disposable. but they are worth it.
