At first glance, I was a bit skeptical about how it would affect the feel of my mattress. However, the protector is surprisingly soft and doesn’t alter the comfort of my bed. It has a smooth, almost silky texture that makes it comfortable to sleep on without any crinkling or uncomfortable noises, which I had experienced with previous protectors. It fits my mattress perfectly, hugging it snugly without any bunching or slipping. The elastic skirt stretches to accommodate various mattress depths, and it stays securely in place, even after multiple nights of sleep. The real selling point for me is the level of protection it offers. Made from a waterproof, breathable material, it shields my mattress from spills, stains, and dust mites, while still allowing air to circulate. I accidentally spilled a drink on the bed one night, and the protector kept my mattress completely dry. It’s a huge relief knowing my mattress is safe from any potential damage. The mattress protector feels well-made, with sturdy stitching and high-quality fabric that holds up even after several washes. It's machine washable, which makes it incredibly easy to care for—no fading or loss of function so far. The waterproof barrier doesn’t deteriorate after washing, which is a major plus.

"This Dorms Hotel Exclusive Twin XL Waterproof Mattress Protector is an absolute must-have! The zippered design ensures a snug fit on my 6-9 inch mattress, and it stays securely in place without slipping or bunching. The premium terry top fabric is soft and breathable, adding a layer of comfort while keeping the mattress fully protected. What sets this protector apart is the waterproof feature—it’s 100% effective at safeguarding against spills, stains, and allergens, which is perfect for dorms or guest rooms. Despite its protective qualities, it doesn’t feel plasticky or noisy, so it’s comfortable to sleep on. Installation was a breeze, and the zippered encasement makes it super easy to put on and take off. It’s durable and washes well, maintaining its quality after multiple cycles. If you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable, and high-quality mattress protector, this is it! Highly recommend for dorm rooms, guest beds, or everyday use."

I spilled an entire cup of coffee on my bed, on this cover. Not ONE BIT of it leaked through to the mattress and it washed out in hot water perfectly! I wish I would've taken a picture. Absolutely no lingering coffee smell either! It is waterproof yet comfortable enough to use it right underneath a sheet; it's a soft material that's not plastic-y at all. Mine is twin size, and is a little tricky to get on the first time, plus I'm doing it by myself. An extra person would help a lot. It has to be put on like a pillowcase. There's an opening at one end that continues about one-third of the way down on both sides of mattress, so I stand the mattress on end and slip it over the top. But if you've got a full size or larger bed you probably won't want to do that...it would be hard to handle. But that doesn't keep me from giving this 5 stars because it's doable for practically anyone and will get easier to put on each time. I mainly got these for allergy/asthma reasons. I have extra beds too so when family comes to visit, their beds will be clean and ready to use, no changing this just because it's been on there a while and needs washed! I use a sticky roller on mine to remove any dust buildup for one that's not been used for a while. I have the pillowcases/protectors in this brand too. They are just as nice, and they zip up on the end. I highly recommend these. The value + quality can't be beat!

Size: Super Queen
I ordered my mattress cover a little big hoping it would fit because most covers are so small. When I received my cover not only did it fit it had plenty of room. It went on with the greatest of ease and I have a really thick bed. It was shockingly soft but so functional in being waterproof and also bug proof. A must when you have a ton of kids in the family who visit and small grandkids! I showed my daughter and she’s in love with the cover so much she’s ordering one for every bed in her house to protect her kids and the investments of her mattresses! Thanks for making a good, heavy duty cover.

I love them so much I bought everyone in the house one for their new beds...as we opened them we slide this baby on! It is really well made. Doesn't make any plastic sound when you sit! Infact it's very soft to the touch! Was easy to put on the bed. I was so worried it would be hard to get on! But I had NO issues. An I love how it velcros by the zipper to hold it in place! Worth it the money to protect the mattress! So you don't get those gross spots from just your body sweating in your sleep...or going to bed with wet hair! .....or spilling a drink! Or a a kid having an accident after they jump into your bed in the middle of the night!

Washed on waterproof cycle and dried on delicate cycle with no troubles. It took less than 10 minutes for one person (me!) to get this on my Queen sized Casper mattress. Fit perfectly, with a little wiggle room. Leads me to believe it would be perfectly snug on a pillow-top mattress, or with a topper. The fabric feels nice - if you needed to sleep on it. Overall, it seems like a quality item and good buy.
