I haven’t even had this blanket for 12 hours but when you know a good waffle-stitch cotton blanket, you know. My household’s been running on polyester for years, but I was raised with wool and cotton especially the quality linens at my grandparents’ house. Now that I’m older and more of a hot sleeper, I’ve realized just how stifling synthetic blankets can be. Polyester traps heat and barely breathes. So I’ve started reverting back to natural materials: cotton, silk, linen, bamboo, even hemp. We weren’t meant to sleep wrapped in plastic or eat from it, for that matter. Straight out of the package, this cotton blanket felt a bit stiff like it had rubbed up against cardboard. Probably from packaging. I tossed it into a quick wash, dried it on low heat, and just like that, it transformed into something right. It’s solid. Get the queen size, fold it in half, and you’ve got a double thick throw. Or just enjoy the extra space. Now, to the person who left a comment saying it wasn’t “very useful”: stop thinking like a consumer. Start thinking like a problem-solver. Just because it doesn’t check your box of softness or plush doesn’t mean it can’t work as a solid blanket. You just might be too used to being catered to. No, it’s not going to be silky-soft like a polyester fleece or a faux-fur throw but that’s not the point. It’s breathable. It’s natural. It does its job. For the price, the quality, and the fact that it’s 100% cotton? I’m definitely buying another. My girlfriend’s already shopping for one to help us slowly replace the plastic-based materials in our home. One blanket and one Tupperware container at a time. We’re not trying to be purists we just want less synthetic stuff in our lives. I think most people would feel better with that too… even if they don’t realize it yet.

This is what I’ve been looking for. I’ve always been a hot sleeper. For a while, waking up drenched in sweat was becoming the norm and the evolution of figuring out how to fix that has been an ongoing journey. It started with replacing all the microfiber I used to use with cotton. Big improvement. Now so many years later and with my fiance and I sharing a bed we have run into the same issues again. At the time we were still using a goose down comforter all year round which was probably a huge mistake. So after reading and thoroughly researching (Reddit lol) my fiance and I narrowed it down to a silk comforter or a cotton blanket. We didn’t mind spending $2-300 for a nice blanket but stumbled upon this blanket by accident. We wanted something lightweight but not totally light that will breathe and also provide some warmth. Idk how this blanket does this, but it does all that and more. I will say it’s a little rough before you wash it but when we took it out of the dryer, it became really soft. It literally felt like magic how it changed after the wash so I’d say wash it first maybe even a few times. For $35 for all cotton quality vs the cheap stuff you get stores this is a great value. I’d say it’s best to avoid all the “specialty cooling“ stuff that isn’t 100% natural fibers because at this point, I believe nothing will breathe easier than that and if you’re a hot sleeper this blanket is a magical godsend. The sage color is so comforting too. If you’re sleeping hot, try this out.

This blanket was EXACTLY what I was looking for! My husband and I purchased a blanket from Marshall's with similar material, however, it was poor quality (not surprising). We decided we did really like that material of that blanket, and we found this one on Amazon. We LOVE it! We ordered a king size even though we have a queen size bed - just to have extra blanket coverage. The material is incredibly soft, durable, and lightweight. I think for the price this is an amazing product, and I have already added different colors of this blanket to my wishlist.

At first I was a little disappointed with this blanket as is it rather thin. But it actually works well as a summer blanket. I layer it under a lightweight quilt, and that provides just enough warmth for summer a/c. And the waffle weave is very attractive.

This blanket is really nice for hot sleepers during the summer! It has enough weight that you feel tucked in, but it doesn't make you sweat. The "Big" size is huge, it hits the floor around our king size bed, but I know it'll shrink because it's 100% cotton. It's not itchy at all, I was pleasantly surprised how soft it was brand new, and I imagine it will get softer with washing. I like the waffle pattern, time will tell if my dog's nails snag on it when she digs around getting comfortable. The quality seems very good, no weird smells or anything. Would recommend!

What initially drew me to this item was the fact that it’s 100% cotton. It’s wonderfully soft and has held up well through multiple machine washes. I dried it on a low setting and experienced no shrinkage, which was a pleasant surprise. The color is slightly lighter than what was shown online, but that’s often the case with digital images—I’ve always found color matching a bit tricky when shopping online. That said, I’m very satisfied with the quality and would definitely order again.

I love this blanket! I wanted a different bed blanket for the warmer weather and I'm super glad I got it. The waffle weave allows for some airflow while still providing warmth. The quality is great. Compared to other "waffle" throws, this one actually has depth to the weave and the weave itself is super tight where it matters. I've had it for almost a month now and it doesn't look any different from when I first opened the package. No visible pilling of the unwoven thread section. Just a great product and at such a good price too.

It was disappointing out of shrink wrap. I washed in cold, delicate dry with dryer balls. It fluffed up very nicely,it did shrink a bit, but I did buy a queen for this full size bed. It is a good buy, it is cotton so it will shrink.
