This is a great product! I was looking for a blanket that wasn’t just soft and plush. This one is it! It is still soft and keeps getting softer through use, but it isn’t that same warm you get from a Sherpa or wool blanket. It is very cooling, even to the point that if I have the fan on, I like to throw another light blanket on top for through the night comfort. I wash it about once every couple of months and it does fine. It has become more soft over use, but I have never hand any issues of this blanket smelling. This is the opposite of my other blankets. If I don’t wash them after a couple of weeks they will begin to smell, making me even more in love with this blanket. It is fairly light, but because it is a pattern design, it has more structure making it feel like a heavy blanket in a way.

This is a great blanket to have in the summertime. Being made of cotton, it is breathable, so it's not unbearably hot. I ALWAYS need a blanket, no matter the temperature, so this fits the bill. I have cats. Cats have claws. So I always have to be cognizant of what bedding I use, as my cats sleep with me. No blanket is going to be 100% snag-proof, but this comes close. When when one of my cats "makes biscuits," the tight weave holds up to his claws. I haven't had the blanket long enough to know how soft it gets after many washes, but I am hopeful. This blanket is not very soft right out of the package, like fleece is. But it's not scratchy, either. Keep in mind this is 100% cotton, and all that entails... If you like cotton blankets, you will like this one...and the price is very reasonable.

This is a comfortably heavy blanket. Well made, not flimsy whatsoever. It let's air flow, it's warm but not overly warm. The size is great, with side overlap. Smoke gray is prettier than I expected. I wanted a color that would go with different colored sheet sets.

I ordered the version of this product for a full-sized bed. The price was very reasonable and, so far, this blanket seems like it will keep me warm enough during the Spring and Fall. The quality is acceptable, but if you are looking for a lightweight, soft, fluffy, thermal blanket, this is not for you. This tightly-woven, heavyweight cotton blanket weighs more than any of my previous blankets. After washing in warm water, this blanket is the same size as the top sheet for the bed. However, to fit on the bed correctly, it needs to be laid on the bed with the selvages at the top and bottom, and the hemmed edges on the sides. This is different from what I expected. I am used to blankets having hems at the top and bottom. I am not sure that selvages will wear as well as hemmed edges since people often tug on the top edge of their blanket.
