Great looking inexpensive lights work great with Phillips Hue / Alexa/Echo - Love these lights. Cant believe how great and inexpensive they are. I got two of the larger size ones and I am really considering getting 2 more. They were expertly packaged to protect them from damage. Actually almost too good as it was hard to know how to remove the plastic wrap from the shade but once I realized it is one LONG single length of 3" wide plastic wrapped in and out of the shade over and over again, I just needed to cut one slit and then unwrap it (lengthwise) around the shade. Really impressed They look great and love how they look when I dim them with my Phillips Hue White and Color smart LED bulbs and control them with my voice after syncing them to my Amazon Alexa/Echo's. We purchased this lamp because the low shade keeps us from having to stare at a light bulb while sitting. This lamp is a nice height for a bedside table or for next to a couch. While you wouldn't want to use it for a reading lamp, it produces a nice warm glow that you can read a magazine or TV listings. We liked it so much we have just purchased another. Looks like a good quality lamp. Touch function works. Outlet and USB works. No weird buzzing sound like the lower quality USB outlet I gotten. I wanted what was advertised and I got what was advertised. I really like this and will buy a second one for my other night stand.

I have had a lamp with a regular outlet on it for years and there is no going back from being able to charge my phone, Kindle, netbook, Fitbit, camera battery etc on my nightstand. My outlet isn't easy to get to and this feature is a must. My original became a problem when the switch became very hard to turn. I replaced it with a cheap lamp from Walmart with a flat LED. It was extremely bright and I had to cover it. It also lasted less than a year. Thus began my search that brought me to this lamp. I don't need it to be bright enough for reading, that is why I got a Kindle Paperwhite! I just need to be able to get up and to my door without breaking my neck. It is perfect for that. I absolutely love that I don't have to find the switch, just the lamp and boom it's on. I also don't have to brace myself for the brightness that the last one had even covered up. I'd put a large base 5 watt bulb in the 1st lamp and hated that the second couldn't be adjusted down. There really isn't a huge difference in the 3 settings of this lamp, I find it equally functional on all. Previously I had a double charging plug in so I could always have my phone cord and my Fitbit charger plugged in. Then if I needed to charge something else I'd just unplug that. No biggie. With this, I have them each in one of the USB ports and when I need to plug in my netbook I won't have to remove anything. Perfect! Although, that does bring me to why I took off one star. One of the USB ports is loose from day one. I'm hoping that is just an outlier and am awaiting my replacement. I think this would be a perfect lamp for a baby's room or while you have your new baby still in your room. It is a soft glow and would be ideal for checking on baby and taking care of feeding and other needs overnight. I'm past that stage, but looking back, it seems perfect for keeping a night rhythm in those tough first months. Pros: charging, just bright enough, easy on and off Cons: loose USB port, not bright (a plus for me, but not everyone) Mine is blue, by the way. Can't imagine how little light the black puts out. Great little bedside night light type light. Update: Got the replacement and the usb is loose also, but not so bad that it comes unplugged easily. Still happy with the lamp and will be keeping it. I'll just hope it lasts long enough to be worth the price. ... show more

I bought two. With both on, it's too dark for reading a book. I'm very surprised by that. The bulbs are part of the reason, but the shades are the real culprits. They block the light They are more like mood lamps or very large nightlights. For my uses, they are perfect. If I wanted the lamps to be brighter, I'd buy different shades. This would be a wonderful lamp for people who don't want to disturb their spouse/roommate or for those who insist on sleeping with a light on. Not so good for people who have cats that throw a fit if you step on them in a dimly lit room. ... show more

Small and stylish, looks modern and classy. The charging works fine and love the touch options for turning on. Only slight downside is that the lighting is very dim even at highest power, using the bulb provided. Like a nightlight as another reviewer said. The bulb has a yellowish tint so maybe using a white bulb may help. I don’t use it for reading so it’s fine for me. ... show more

Exactly what I was looking for! The three settings for brightness are great. I keep it on the lowest setting before bed. The brightest setting is definitely not enough to light up an entire room so this is a dedicated bedside lamp. It's so easy to reach over and tap it on, off or brighter. It's a great glow that allows for reading, scrolling your tablet etc while in bed. If there's any downside, it is my issue but for those who are the same... I'm a little OCD so I don't love that it's a fingerprint magnet. However, that's me being OCD & it cleans perfect with some glass cleaner. Two electrical outlets and two USB outlets top this thing off. It's absolutely perfect. The blue is very nice on my blue walls. ... show more
