I ordered this for a petty reason - to prove a point. If you're wondering, yes: I proved it. You can make almost any microphone sound good if you try hard enough. A little processing goes a long way with some of these lower-priced mics. The sound quality out of the box is pretty much what you'd expect, it's your standard low-end condenser mic. One thing I noticed is, some people who bought this mic tend to overlook the fact that it's not a direct address microphone - You don't speak into the top of it. It's a side address, meaning you talk into the front side (with the gain and LED controls). There is a diagram in the instruction manual illustrating this, but some people apparently don't read the manual. Maybe put a metal band up and around the end of the hood? Or make that the first page of the manual and not the fourth or fifth? I dunno, jersey unboxers aren't exactly sharp tools... My advice: Keep the gain low, add a Noise Gate and a basic Parametric EQ using VST plugins, and you should be all set. You shouldn't notice any latency issues unless you're monitoring the input (that never syncs up in my experience) in your headphones. Even unprocessed, it's an adequate mic for basic communications apps like Discord calls and IM voice messages. A decent enough starter microphone for YouTubers and Streamers, as long as you're not dense and put some effort into your presentation.

Previous headset mic was too quiet so opted to get this product. Easy set up, just plug and adjust and its good to go. Previously friends had trouble hearing me while gaming but now with proper settings I can come off as loud. Have been told voice comes out very clearly. Sensitivity is quite high so it may pick up background noise being a condenser mic, but with filter/adjustments that can be fixed easily. Very impressed

This microphone is a good gift to a friend in a budget or to a beginner the quality is nice not to bad does take a minute to fully get going it did cause a little bit of a problem at first but we were then able to get it working, the sound is okay and so is the quality overall it’s a good size not to small not to big and is good to start out with.

Incredible MIC for the money is about all I can say. I find the RGB a bit annoying but I find all rgb rainbow strobes annoying but you CAN put it on a solid color or turn the light off entirely, My co-workers tell me it's great in team calls.
