This USB headset works great! When I hear my playback from when I speak into the headset is very clear and without much background noise coming through. The ear pieces are soft, however I am concerned about the material, curious to know when or how long the soft material will take to break down, as they are for every day and long day use. This type of material is known to chip or break down - may purchase covers to protect my investment. I love the controls that are available and how prominent they are for me (I hate when all things blend into the background and when I cannot tell what button I am pressing, which happens with many other headphones). I like that they have a 1 year warranty automatically. I did find some cheaper headphones that might have worked but opted to splurge after I received a coupon. No complaints!

Good overall, particularly if you have a new device. Pros: comfortable, great noise reduction, very clear microphone, easy to use on a new device (2020 All-in-one by HP). Literally plug and play, could not be easier on this particular device. However I’m returning this (for the second time) due to the following: Cons: The volume and mute buttons, while easy to use, simply toggle on and off, with no way to tell if they’re on or off without testing/using. This is not a problem if your device works. But it makes troubleshooting darn near impossible. This is pretty difficult to use with older devices. My second device is an older surface pro (3 years old); this headset works intermittently at best. At first, it worked immediately upon plug in. Fabulous! Then it stopped working for no apparent reason. Frustrating, as I was almost done with a project. I reverted to no mic at all to finish, so there’s a noticeable difference in sound quality and background noise. Not my best work, but we’re all dealing w tech issues working from home in the pandemic, right? So I finished project with weird sound issues then spent considerable time with tech support trying to figure it out. Is it the software I was using for my project? Ruled it out with software tech. Is it my device? Ruled out with IT team at work, although we found a solution... need to manually add this in the control panel area of my computer. But the problem returned intermittently. So at random intervals, I needed to stop work, go to advanced settings in the microphone area of control panel, and re-connect this device. Pain. Back to tech support route. Tech determines that it is a defective item, which I exchanged. The new headset arrived next day and it worked immediately, plug and play on surface pro ... for about 4 hours. Then the same issue resumed. The device DOES consistently work (truly plug & play, clear sound, very comfortable) on my 2020 All-in-one by HP. So if you’re pairing this with a new-ish device as many of us are in the pandemic, this is an excellent choice. But this device has been a nightmare to use on my older surface pro. So if you have an older device, you'll need extra time, plenty of patience and tech support on speed dial to use it reliably.

This is a great product to get if you plan on having a headset on your person for long periods of time. I have use it for duration's of over 4 hour periods and, know that I can continue to ware them. I was unsteady at first of the design of the padding of the headphones before purchasing but, they fit on my ears just fine and I feel like I have pretty big ears. Sound is up to par and the control remote, while it dose seem to be large for the simple tasks of phone/video calls it's a perfect size to have for those moments of volume adjustment and muting you mic without looking at the remote. I will say that I haven't had too many headsets that have a mic but, the audio capture is so smooth and clear from the microphone. I don't think that anyone would have any issues of not being able to hear you unless you have it too far away or speak really softly. I will say that I'm not using this headset for its intended purpose of making calls and meetings and, have been using it for budget game capturing audio for commentary. Despite that being the case whether if you use this for meetings, VoIP or, something off the wall like game capturing or a budget PC gaming mic. I don't think that you would be disappointed. I guess that if I have to say one issue which, I know that I have to adjust the mic distance from the flexible stem of the headset. If you have the mic in front of your mouth it dose pick up breathing from your nose quite well (from the few testing recording sessions that I have done). Its like I said I know that is just adjustments that I have to do for myself as I don't use the mic that often but, for recording. For the time being I just have it level with the tip of my nose and that still picks up my voice quite well.

I am not a "get new stuff" person, so this headset replaced one I had to use with Dragon Dictate when it was first installed on my old computer 15 - yes, 15! - years ago. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I can now do internet calls with clarity, my dictation is easier, and the sound quality in the ear pieces is outstanding! My granddaughter does on-line karaoke, and her voice recordings are crystal clear and true to sound. No set up, plug and play, and off it went. I don't believe you can go wrong with this headset.

I have bought a ton of headsets because I am a debt collector and I work from home. This is the best headset I’ve ever bought and I will continue to buy these products. I can hear everything my debtor says, and they can hear me clearly. Plus, I have an air conditioner right next to my desk, and with other headsets, they could hear the air conditioner, with this one they cannot.
