Worked for about a week, paired with a chromecast 4k. Then it just stopped. Power cycled it and it worked again for a few minutes before stopping again. Rinse and repeat. You get what you pay for. I returned this and ordered one that's a few dollars more that's been working flawlessly.

I wanted to add wired Ethernet to a Google Chromecast with Google TV and didn’t feel like paying top dollar for the Google adaptor. This works just as well; the only downside is that it mounts close to the streaming device, so you have to run an Ethernet cable to the back of the TV instead of at the power plug end like the Google solution. Other than that, this works identically (I have the Google one too) and it is truly plug-and-play. I got this unit through the Vines program at no cost in exchange for my honest review. I had my doubts, but it really works great. It's completely plug and play. Our wifi isn't great, and my kiddo's school chrome book isn't great either. I am using this on a Google Chromecast with Google TV HD (not 4K) as I was having issues with using bluetooth headphones while also using wifi. So far it has been working pretty well.
