  • Not for video; great for productivity
I bought this to replace a dead 32f model thinking it should be similar enough. HP has implemented their EyeEase technology on the firmware for this product. This essentially translates to a MASSIVE reduction in blue spectrum output. Blues are green, blacks are grey-green. To compensate, you can use the on-screen menu to dump the green output, but that just blows out the remaining colors' saturation. Nice rig, built-in cable management on the stand. Multiple inputs is great! Just not a good monitor for anything visual. If you're WFH and hammering through spreadsheets and other documentation, go for it. ... show more

  • Need to return
It does not stay working.

  • Died in under 2 years
Purchased in May 2022 and now (December 2023) it's no longer usable. Screen went totally gray on the monitor itself, can't even access the on screen display menu to try to troubleshoot. Garbage 🗑️

  • Yellowed views
It has a tint of yellow because of HP's "Eye Ease". It's supposed to suppress blue to be easier on the eyes, but you cannot turn Eye Ease off. I make a lot of video, & also take a lot of pictures. I can't adjust the colors on my videos & images properly with Eye Ease on the monitor because they'll be way off when viewed on a NORMAL monitor or TV. We really need to be able to turn Eye Ease off. We already have the ability to turn blue up or down in our graphics settings. We really don't need this always stuck on. Eye Ease tries to turn the yellow up even more after a few seconds, if I turn up the blue, so I can't get my blues right & get rid of the yellowing no matter how high I turn blue up. The more blue I try to add, the more yellow the stupid thing adds in a few seconds. What's worse, at night, if I try to turn down the brightness or contrast so it's not blinding me in a dim room, Eye Ease turns the yellow up extra high! There should be a firmware update for those who want to kill this ridiculous feature. ... show more

  • Yellow vertical line appeared in less than 2 years
The monitor worked well for over a year, but not too long after that a vertical yellow line appeared. Unfortunately, it was after the warranty period so I'm either stuck looking at the issue or I have to buy a new monitor.
