This adapter arrived promptly and did exactly what I needed it to do. My desktop PC lacked Bluetooth capabilities and I needed a solution to use my Bose QuietComfort IIs for watching videos from across the room at night time. Drivers installed automatically in a flash and I immediately had the option to pair to devices - I haven't had a single drop in audio or audio quality since, even walking over a few rooms.     • My husband's works, mine--I'm struggling
When we first connected my headphones to the computer via this adapter, it took a little work to figure out how to make it work. Once we got it connected, it sounded and worked great. However, a couple days later I was using the headphones with my phone--which connected to the headphones again without issue--then when I went to connect to the computer again, I could not get them to connect. I tried several different things, including disconnecting and reconnecting, but did not get them to work. My husband has the same adapter and headphones, with the same difficulties at first, but has since gotten everything to work and they continue to work. However, he ONLY uses his headphones with the computer. It would be nice if they made it easier to connect and reconnect after using with other media. ... show more

    • Works Fine with a quick driver download
I installed the TP-Link BT dongle today and it works just fine. I an using it to connect an Echo Dot to my PC as the onboard mobo BT stopped working. Rather than troubleshooting an older BT standard (4.X) I disabled the onboard/integrated BT in my bios downloaded and installed the driver from TP-Link. The packaging and actual TP-link dongle say BT 5.0 but if you download the right driver from the mfg site Windows will report 5.3. Love this adapter it was a simple plug and play no install or workaround needed to get it to work unlike some I have used in the past. It instantly gave my desktop PC the ability to connect to my soundbar for sound and the quality is great. There is no feedback issue or latency that I can tell of.
