Why did you pick this product vs others?: WOW!! I am amazed the speed I have now in my back bedroom desktop. I was using a single plug in USB WIFI receiver for the past 5 years. While it still works, I ran across this 2 antenna type and read the reviews, and they were not lying. I was so frustrated with my wifi before and was looking around to change carrier, but perhaps my old antenna just wore out. This is instant now where as before, sometimes I could count to 5 before things would happen. Easy installation, I just plugged it in. No special USB, no using the disc that came with it, nothing, it just took over. It was alright for the time it was strong it lasted me 10 months before I had to upgrade, easy to install, plug in and go, it connected to my wifi just fin, strong signal ,blooth and functionality it was good, I was using it for my laptop at the time, make sure you read All reviews!

...after finding the right USB port. This replaced the failed WiFi card in my laptop. After plugging it in to one of the two USB ports, it worked, but often dropped the signal. Then I tried plugging in to a USB hub plugged into the other USB port. Needed a USB A male to female cable because the adapter wouldn't fit into the crowded hub. Worked perfectly, no dropouts. I'm getting 270-280 Mbps download speed. Router is on the 2nd floor, PC's in the basement.
