Does exactly what you want. I have fiber 1gb internet. Ethernet wired I throw up a 900mb speed. Recently switch my computer setup around to upstairs and realized how awful the built WiFi off my motherboard is. Was throwing up a 70-80mb speed being upstairs. Bought this bad boy and brought my WiFi download speed up to 280mb and an upload speed of 275mb. Don’t be hesitant on this purchase at all. World of difference! Aim one antenna facing down towards the router a floor below me and the other antenna straight up towards the ceiling. Worked like a charm. Even if it lasts two years like some of the people are complaining about. That’s exactly how long the warranty covers for. So just buy a new one when the time is up. Not the end of the world for the price.

I almost refunded this thing after I installed the drivers and the adapter absolutely freaked out. But SANA from customer service was very helpful with his text messages and we managed to get it working again. DONT TRY TO INSTALL THE DRIVERS. It will only frustrate you. With in a few moments, got me up and running, never would have thought of the simple solution they had me try! We are up and running now! Thanks Sana !!! Great. So you want to get their 2.4G and 5G. adapter. If you get the only the 2.4 product (cheaper), your speed will be really low. So I connected to the 5G and I got 290 Mbs. with the cable I get over 400Mbs speed but that's good enough for me.
