I got this because my new laptop only had 2 ports. I should have looked at that part better when I purchased it. I have every port filled on this and it works wonderfully. I used to have to unplug it and replug it in every once in awhile but I haven't had any issues with it lately

Great adapter! Have no complaints except it doesn't seem to have anything for the Ethernet cable to clip to. It's a good snug fit so the cable doesn't fall out, but it would be nice if it had a slightly better design.
