It works on Linux Mint, but I have to disconnect it first during boot up and reconnect. I may have to check the BIOS boot priority sequence. Overall, I am very happy with its WI-FI range compared to my old USB wireless NIC.

Ordered the BrosTrend AX1L for Ubuntu 22.04. Took about 15 minutes to get everything setup and running. It works very well; speed and range appear solid thus far. Be aware that for Linux this is not plug-n-play. A driver needed and has to be installed in order for this adapter to work. It is an out-of-kernal driver by RealTek rtl8852bu. ... show more

I purchased two of these, the first one installed just fine on one RPI but i had problems with the installation on the 2nd RPI. I contacted customer support and was immediatly given access to a very knowledgable CS engineer who got me up and running. Turns out I had mismatched kernel headers etc. Instead of attempting to fix the header issue I decided to install a fresh RaspianOS image. All is good now! ... show more

The one line command to install the drivers to get the kernel support is great. The download and installation went smoothly and efficiently. The connection to the 802.11ax gateway network was also without any issues. Testing for communication speed resulted in impressive results with no extra effort. Works on Ubuntu 22.04. I did have some problems with the setup. I got an error and had to email support. They responded within a day with the solution. I have the Microsoft secure boot option on in the bios. Support explained how to fix the problem. The WIFI dongle works well.

The media could not be loaded. No issues. Locate the BrosTrend Linux support page online and run the install command. I recommend using 'sudo' and if you get an error towards the end of the install, run the same command line again. Worked well on Ubuntu 22 and MX Linux 21.
