I've purchased 3 of these in the past 3 years since I have multiple "workstations" at different houses. Works well with my Dell XPS-13, but be sure to pay attention to the pictures and description to ensure it will fit your needs as it's "Triple Screen" modes will differ depending on your hardware (PC, MacBook, GPU settings, etc.). The most recent purchase I made had an issue where HDMI Port 2 stopped working. I confirmed this by swapping it out with another dongle (same product, just purchased at a different time). Seeing as how it was less than a year since purchasing, I reached out to customer support to see if they could help me...I honestly had low expectations and wasn't expecting a response since it's an overseas company (probably across the world in China) but they actually responded early the next morning! Customer support was helpful and had me follow some simple troubleshooting instructions to confirm the dongle was in-fact defective and so they sent me a brand new replacement which is working great. Very happy with this product and the customer support. I do agree with the other reviewers that after a full 8 hour work day, the dongle does feel warm to the touch but even my oldest dongle from 3 years ago is still working fine so I don't have an issue with it.

It works seamlessly as long as you follow the instructions for downloading the driver before attempting to use. I could see this being very useful to many. However, it didn't work with my particular setup because one of my two monitors requires a refresh rate over 60 Hz, which appears to be throttled by this hub. If you plug your monitor in and it turns on but the screen looks glitchy or flashes black intermittently, this is likely the case for you as well. You may be able to fix it by adjusting the refresh rate manually, but the highest it can go appears to be 60 Hz, so if your monitor requires more than that this will likely not function for you. That being said, it should still be a perfect fit for most users, particularly business users (my monitor just happens to be a high-end gaming monitor, which would not usually be the case for most).

The shortness of the cord is very inconvenient. It takes away from the performance of the device. I foresee the cord getting damaged overtime from being bent so much..

I like that this is small and affordable. I have 2 2k monitors I need to run. But with this device, one runs at 2k the other is 1080p. The description here is very deceptive and misleading. However, if you were to pull up the product spec sheet it clearly states only 1 4k channel and the other is 1080p MAX. Now I would normally be pissed off about this but I only needed one extra 4k HDMI because my laptop already has one and I have 2 portable screens for trading. The 1080p port is not wasted in my case because I also bought a cheap Rybozen HDMI capture box so I can stream my trading session. Now I'm not going to lie. The box does get a little warm to the touch. It could probably also be used as a coffee cup warmer. As for the other USB ports on this device, they are USB2.0 only. That's ok for things like external keyboards and mice because they don't require USB3.x and it wouldn't make sense to tie up those ports on your computer when you don't have to in the first place. A couple of reviewers stated here that the mouse will get glitchy sometimes. I expect this is due to the large amount of heat coming. I may break it down and see if I can put some heatsinks on it. Also keep in mind that this driver may cause other USB hubs to fail if they are used at the same time.

Bought this through a co-worker recommendation. I had limited expectations for it. Happy to say, so far it meets my needs. I found a way to display my mac screen on 2 monitors very easily. some older USB keyboards and a Mouse hooked right up. This is a work laptop and I didn't want to have to buy all kinds of extras for my limited work from home time. My only 'complaint' is its very small size. Given the number of cables connecting to it, it moves around a lot more than I'd like. I will probably try to velcro it down to something - maybe even a monitor stand. In this case, the small size is actually a rather large perk.

I couldn't get the HDMI or DP ports to work with my Dell Precision 3571. I sent a message to the vendor through Amazon and they responded in less than a day and gave some suggestions but they didn't work. I also got a message when I connected the laptop power supply (150W) through the dock that it was slow charging and that I should plug in the original power supply instead. The vendor said this shouldn't cause a problem, but I didn't trust it. I decided it wasn't worth troubleshooting more and bought a 4k 43" TV instead of the dual monitors I was using and returned the dock. I have a friend who has this and is happy with it. If I could get the video to work, it would have been great. Everything else worked. It was much smaller than I expected which was nice.
