Description

Does it support 8K video output? It cannot output 8K video. The "8K" here refers to 8000Hz polling rate, which delivers high-speed signal transmission for gaming mice and keyboards to reduce input lag during gameplay. Does this hub support PD fast charging? This hub does not offer PD fast charging output. The bottom-left USB‑C port is only for external power input. Connect a 5V adapter to resolve insufficient power for mice and keyboards, and RGB lighting can run at full brightness without limits. Is it normal for the hub to get warm during use? Minor warmth during operation is normal and will not shorten the hub’s service life. How many USB ports does this hub have? It features two USB‑C inputs (one for PC connection, one for external power), two USB‑C outputs and one USB‑A output. HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet and SD card reader functions are not supported. How many pictures can be stored? The hub can store up to 77 static images. GIF wallpapers are calculated by frames; each frame takes the storage capacity of one static image, so GIF files consume far more storage.

Smaller than expected, but the live power display is genuinely useful for travel
Two things hit me when I opened this. First, it's tiny. The photos made it look bigger than it is. That ended up being a good thing for my use case, but if you're expecting a full sized desktop dock, recalibrate. Second, the packaging has anime artwork on the box. Not a problem, just unexpected for a tech accessory. You've been warned. Once I got past the unboxing surprises, this does exactly what I wanted. I travel with multiple devices and I wanted a USB-C hub that would let me charge them while showing me real time voltage and current draw on the built in screen. That little 1.9 inch IPS display is the whole reason to buy this over a generic hub. I can see which port is pulling what, confirm my phone is actually fast charging and not trickle charging, and tell whether a cable is performing or needs to be replaced. That kind of visibility is useful when you're troubleshooting charging issues away from home. The aluminum build feels solid for the size. It doesn't slide around on a desk or nightstand, and it's light enough that tossing it in a bag adds almost nothing. What I'd flag is that this is a charging hub, not a full docking station. If you're looking to run monitors or connect peripherals, this isn't that. The name says docking station but the real value here is the power monitoring display on a compact travel charger. For travel charging with the bonus of knowing exactly what your devices are pulling, it's a neat little tool. ... show more

Great little hub, funny display, USB 2.0 with FAST response time.
Plugged in a mouse and keyboard and both worked straight away, no driver needed. Screen is bright and the animations are a little goofy, which is exactly why it's on my desk. Gives the setup some personality. What I'd tell someone before buying: - Port speed is USB 2.0. Fine for a mouse, keyboard, tourbox, joystick. Not for a thumb drive or a webcam. - The "8K" in the listing is the 8000Hz polling rate, not video and not USB4. So you get faster response time, not faster data. Worth reading twice because a lot of people will assume the wrong thing. - Build is great. Aluminum, feels solid. Well, the hub is solid, the cable pulling it around is another story, because it's so light that it slid all over the desk. - You get to the settings by shaking it, so gluing it down is out. I put velcro on it and stuck it to the base of my monitor. - You can run it without external power, but my devices got an unstable connection that way. I power it from another hub with a dedicated charging port. On Windows, Device Manager > Generic USB Hub > untick "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" will probably fix it. The same brand sells a simpler version without the display that does the same job, so with this one you're paying for the funny part, great value anyway, I think it's worth it. Would make a decent gift for a gamer or an IT person. 5 stars from me. It would be perfect with USB 3.2 instead of 2.0, and keep that in mind if you need storage speed. ... show more

Useful Bench Tool for Power Monitoring Hidden Behind a Lot of Fluff
I picked up this docking hub primarily to use as a diagnostic bench tool for testing USB power output and checking the exact device power demand on various peripherals. The core functionality works perfectly for that specific task. The built-in 1.9-inch IPS screen delivers crisp, real-time tracking of wattage, voltage, and current throughput across the different ports, which is exactly what I wanted. It does a great job of showing you precisely how much juice an external drive or device is drawing without needing to open up separate system software on your main monitor. The physical appearance of the device is quite sharp and feels much more premium than a standard plastic adapter. It is crafted from a solid block of CNC-machined aluminum alloy that gives it a clean, minimalist desktop look and some decent weight so it doesn't just slide around your workspace when cables are attached. The structural durability of the shell is excellent, offering solid heat dissipation and tough impact resistance that should easily survive years of regular use on a test bench. The kit also includes a neat little USB-C cable that lights up with built-in LEDs when connected, adding a unique visual touch to the desk. However, when you finally figure out how to navigate the clunky web-driver page to adjust the internal settings, it becomes immediately apparent that the target demographic for this piece of hardware is probably a decade or two younger than me. I was expecting a straightforward utility instrument and instead got a device pre-loaded with a bunch of generic anime graphics. If that is your thing, you will probably love it, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Beyond the power monitoring, the interface does pack in a lot of customizable features if you are willing to play around with them. It supports remapping, custom profile controls, and the ability to upload your own 77-frame GIF animations to replace the stock images, which is a fun bit of versatility for personalizing the display. The layout provides simple ease of use once you get past the initial configuration, automatically recognizing connected gear with stable throughput speeds. It is definitely an interesting, robust little hybrid tool, and given the solid aluminum build and accurate metering, it represents a very fair value for money buy for anyone looking for a smarter way to manage a compact desktop setup. ... show more

A solution looking for a problem
This USB hub is mechanically solid and visually interesting, but I'm having a hard time figuring out who exactly it is intended for. The screen looks good, but doesn't really add anything beyond visual appeal. The ports themselves feel solid, and I've had no issues with the functionality of the device, but it is limited to USB 2.0 speeds. It appears to be marketed to the gaming crowd, but I've had a very difficult time finding a situation in which one lacks the USB ports for a keyboard and mouse but does have the room for a dedicated hub to manage them. Perhaps something in the ultra-portable category? The included USB cable is the only substandard part, it feels bad in the hand and is short enough to be functionally useless if one is intending to cable manage. Top marks for quality overall. Much like a cherry-pitting tool, this device is ideal for solving one very specific problem, but not designed to expand at all beyond the scope OF that one very specific problem. ... show more

Great little screen, but charging did not work for me
I really wanted to love this dock. The concept is exactly my kind of gadget: an aluminum desk hub with a crisp 1.9 inch IPS display showing real-time power draw, plus the option to use it as a tiny photo frame for GIFs. On my desk it looks fantastic, and watching live wattage numbers scratches an engineering itch that a plain hub never will. Unfortunately, the core function let me down. Neither of my laptops - one Mac, one Windows - would charge through it. Not slowly, not at all. I went through every USB-C cable combination I own, including the known-good high-wattage ones that work fine plugged straight into the same charger, and nothing changed. My phone does charge through it, but noticeably slower than when connected directly to the same brick. Simple devices that draw around one amp work normally, so the hub is not dead, it just does not negotiate the higher power levels my laptops expect. That leaves it in an odd spot. As a power meter for the bench it is genuinely useful: the display is sharp, the readings react instantly, and diagnosing which cable or charger is misbehaving becomes trivial. The aluminum body feels premium and the customizable screen is a fun touch of personality on the desk. But the product is sold as a docking station, and a dock that cannot pass laptop charging power is only doing half its job. If you want a desk gadget for monitoring USB power and light-duty port expansion, you will probably enjoy it. If you are buying it to run your laptop through one cable, be prepared for the possibility it will not cooperate. Three stars: love the idea, mixed feelings about the execution. ... show more

Great desk or tech pouch addition.
I have several usb hubs floating around my desk and they are all rather plain and boring. This USB-C Hub Docking Station with the 1.9” IPS Smart Display is a great way to add more function and visual enhancement. The hub is made from an aluminum alloy build feels premium and looks sleek it extends your capabilities and elevates your workspace instead of cluttering it. The standout feature is that bright 1.9-inch IPS smart display, other than just being something cool to look at it actually doubles as a real-time power monitor so you can easily track charging and power delivery at a glance, plus it works as a fun DIY GIF digital photo frame. Loading custom GIFs or images turns it into a personal touch that makes the whole desk feel more lively and custom. Connectivity is impressive too: the 2-in 3-out design with 8K (polling rate not 8K video) USB-C splitting handles high-resolution output smoothly, making it great for multi-monitor or high-res display setups without any noticeable lag. I have used this on my portable 4k 144hz monitor and I haven not had any issues. It’s compact yet versatile, perfect for both productivity and gaming sessions. I can easily throw it in my tech pouch and don't have to worry about packing any extra hubs. Overall, this little dock punches well above its size—smart, stylish, and genuinely useful. Highly recommended if you want something more interesting than a basic hub! ... show more
