So I got a MacBook that only had the the usb c port. I thought I was gone have to spend a lot of money to get a good docking station. This one works amazing and it’s not chunky like the other ones. this dock is a great price and works perfectly for what I need. I have it mounted on the side of my desk with a spare keyboard, my laptop charger, and my monitors. When I work from home, I only need to bring my laptop home and connect one cord to have a full setup like I do at the office.

My new LG laptop comes with a shortage of ports, which is frustrating. In order to attach a second monitor and charge more USB and USB-C devices I needed a new hub. This is a good slim device and is working well. My only complaint is that it is a bit long and by the time you put a lot of plugs into it it creates a pretty large spider on your desk. It takes up a lot of space. It would’ve been nice if it was more of a stack or cube design for cord management purposes. It needs to sit relatively close to your laptop so if desk space is an issue, you might consider other options.

The primary issue I have encountered with this USB hub is its tendency to randomly disconnect essential peripherals, including my hard drive, audio interface, and MIDI keyboard. These frequent disconnections disrupt my workflow, leading to substantial time loss and frustration. As someone deeply involved in music production, where seamless connectivity is paramount to achieving professional results, such interruptions are utterly unacceptable. I have diligently attempted to troubleshoot the issue by ensuring the hub is adequately powered through a connected charger. Could not get the monitors to work with the HDMI Port. USB works. I see now that was not due to the product but due to the fact my HP laptop c port does not support extending the screen. Company reached out and was awesome. But I googled why my HP would not work with this and found my answered on HP website. I’m sure that is the problem most folks that complained about the HDMI not working will find. So before you purchase Google your laptop model to make sure the c-port supports extending displays

Used this product the first time and it worked. After that the HDMI port never worked again. Contacted the company through Amazon and we did some trouble shooting and couldn’t get it to work. They refunded the price of the product and let me keep the item. The USB ports still work. All other parts of the experience was satisfactory. I did buy it for the HDMI so that was disappointing. But to me the company policy to refund and let me keep it was fair.
