My original remote batteries died and I was going to just replace the batteries but then I saw these. My original remotes are old and scratched, so new remotes would be nice... My car is supposedly compatible and I read this in the Amazon description for these remotes. "This remote is self programmable, DIY programming instructions are included." The instructions tell you to go to Remotesremotes(dot com) for programming instructions. I put in my make, model and year and the instructions I got back was to get a locksmith... You need some kind of device to program the remote when the car has keyless start. (With the key fob in my pocket, I just put my foot on the break and push the start button that's next to my steering wheel.) I couldn't program it myself. ... show more

This was perfect. And despite the reviews it IS programmable. However, the instructions from the website they send you to are pretty useless. I got it to program using a youtube video. The instructions they direct you towards are complete garbage. For reference my car is a 2007 Nissan Sentra, with a crank key. One thing to note: the trunk button for me does NOT work. The media could not be loaded. I followed the directions on the website worked just fine for me no problems and only took me 3ish minutes to get both connected to the z I never had a key fob for my z for damn near 3 plus years and kinda feel insulted it only took 20 bucks to fix thats

Insert and remove your key 6-10 times, blinkers flash. Remove key, and turn to acc. Press the lock button on fob and bam it works great. Great value
