    • Programming Was Easy, Key Blade Transfer Was a Nightmare

The price was good and programming only took a few seconds. Unfortunately, transferring the key blade was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. The biggest problem is a small pin that holds the key blade in place. Removing this pin was almost impossible. I watched multiple YouTube videos and tried several suggested methods, but none of them worked for me. I spent far more time than expected trying to get the pin out and ended up ruining multiple watch repair tools in the process. A much better design would be to ship the replacement fob with the key portion separate so customers could simply attach their original key blade. Programming was quick and easy, but removing the key blade from the original fob and transferring it was an unnecessary headache. What should have been a simple replacement became an aggravating project that took far more time and effort than it should have. I would not buy these again. ... show more

I give this 4 stars coz it will not lock when closed. Other than that which I dont really mind, this is a good option for replacing old key fobs. Cheaper that dealerships or replacement companies.

This is our second time to order replacement Fob’s. Four separate Terrains in our family! Although we have not programmed these, we are sure they will work! The original purchased Fob was because one of my original ones the key broke off. On another one of the push buttons got stuck & wouldn’t work.

The key fob worked fine with the uncut key, but I have the original key and circuit board. When I changed the uncut key to the manufacturer key it would not fit. I had to modify the original key to get the remote to work. It still isn’t correct, but I was able to get the remote functions to work but the I can not get the key to open and close correctly. I would not recommend this fob unless you are patient and are a handyman. ... show more
