After trying other clip-on badge holders that didn’t last, I waited to see how this one held up before reviewing. After a year of frequent use every day at work, it’ still functions well. The string is strong and doesn’t snag or slip when retracting, and the decorative silver chain isn’t obtrusive when worn with necklaces. The chain and holder have remained shiny, haven’t scratched, and haven’t left any green or black marks on clothing. I like the interchangeable colored discs that can be used to coordinate with outfits too. The discs are felt and I spray them with my favorite cologne or essential oil to provide my own dose of aroma therapy. The lanyard was well packaged, includes a cute little black bag I use to store the unused discs, and came with two plastic badge holders. I just wish the chain was styled with a clasp so the length could be adjusted - I’m 5’6 ” and the lanyard hangs below my natural waist, a little longer than I’d like. That said, this is a very good buy, and highly recommended.

I love the look of this and the necklace piece of the lanyard is beautiful. But, a few days after I started wearing it, I noticed the top of the pendant/circle had fallen off and I cannot use the felt pads to change the colors to match my outfits like I had planned.

This is a beautiful lanyard and it looks more like a piece of jewelry and so much better than those cheap lanyards. I got this one for my daughter. I like that you can change out the little colored disc and make it whatever color you choose.
