I had to order replacement blinds due to the family cat doing what family cats do, breaking cheap blinds among other things. The blinds are very well made way heavier with thicker blades than what I replaced. Solid construction Installation was straightforward with easy installation instructions and now the family cat simply bounces off the blinds when he gets the zoomies as opposed to sailing through them and into the window. Also since they are thicker they block out far more light than standard blinds. The only downside is that by design these are heavier blinds and may slightly inconvenient to install alone but the trade off is well worth it long term. The overall quality of these blinds is very good. They are sturdy and everything functions as it should. My package arrived with the top gram of the blind with several dents and bent metal. Most likely damaged during shipping. There were also several missing parts. Fortunately for me, the blind I was replacing this one with was nearly identical and I was able to scavenge needed parts. I was also able to hammer out some of the dents. The damaged areas are covered by a valance so I wasn’t concerned about how it looked. Normally I would not accept something in this condition but I bought it at a good price and was able to work around the issues. It all stems from very bad package design. We all know how badly these packages get treated during shipping. I’m happy with the product itself and would have rated it higher had I not spent 30 minutes repairing shipping damage. ... show more

Exactly as described and well built blinds. Perfect for my vinyl windows. No dangling cords to harm kids or pets! Much better value than the cheap, thin “temporary” option. These will last a while! My cat doesn’t screw around with these like the flexible crappy kind.
