Description

The minimum depth required to mount blind is 1 1/2 inch. The minimum depth required for flush-mounting is 3 inch. Our blinds are crafted with high quality components including high profile steel head rail and quality PVC foam slats. Our blinds resist heat and humidity, and are great for all indoor areas including the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. Installation instructions, a 3 1/4" decorative valance, valance clips, a tilt wand mounting brackets, and screws are included. Valance returns or ending corner valances are NOT included. Mounting screws provided are best for drywall or sheetrock only. They are not for concrete or metal surfaces.

The blinds look great! They have a really bad chemical scent when you first open them, but that’s is not noticeable after an hour or two. They are pretty easy to install and come with the hardware you will need. It’s pretty much the same as most other blinds. I’m sort of handy and was about to do each one in about 10 minutes. The screws have very thick heads. One of my windows is not totally square which meant there was a little less room between the hangers. The blinds would not go in past the screws. I switched one side out for screws with thinner heads and it went right in. You will need a drill to install them. They are heavier to lift open than I had expected. You should definitely measure well before you order. Your cannot change the width of the blinds. You may be able to remove slats to shorten them. I did not try to do that as the 72 inch blinds fit my windows perfectly. I would buy again. I wish I had done this years ago! ... show more

I love waking up to sunlight , instead of a pitch black room, then crawling out of bed to turn the light on. Also when i am home watching tv, i dont need a ton of extra led lights turned on to illuminate my room. I have these cracked so light comes in , and just 1 the led strip lights on the ceiling that creates a perfect atmosphere. I used to have just a curtain that was light proof and i guess i never knew i needed this until now. Quality is perfect, simple installition, 2-3 screws on each side. Then you slide this in and lock it on each side. It fit perfectly with only .25 inch of space instead of the recommended .50 inch of space. No isssues or complaints. ... show more

So I purchased 4 faux wood blinds, product is great, looks amazing and it came with everything I needed to install. The only issue was that 3 out of 4 blinds had concealed damage. I’m not blaming the seller for the damage, however, I know the issue could have been prevented if the packaging had been better or had a sturdier box. The rail on all 3 blinds was bent and one blind had to be recut Because it wasn’t cut correctly, some of the slats were longer than others. Other than that, great product for the price. ... show more

    • Not sturdy and VERY tough to pull down
I’ve owned these blinds for almost two years now. They were easy to install and look great, but they are not sturdy. The brackets are very thin and the blinds are very very tough to pull down. As I was pulling down on one of my blinds to close them, the bracket bent and the blinds fell on my head :( . One of the hooks for the covers broke in the fall. I was able to bend the bracket back, but this will definitely happen again. I’m on the fence as to whether or not I’d buy these again. ... show more

    • Heavy duty and small pet proof
I had to order replacement blinds due to the family cat doing what family cats do, breaking cheap blinds among other things. The blinds are very well made way heavier with thicker blades than what I replaced. Solid construction Installation was straightforward with easy installation instructions and now the family cat simply bounces off the blinds when he gets the zoomies as opposed to sailing through them and into the window. Also since they are thicker they block out far more light than standard blinds. The only downside is that by design these are heavier blinds and may slightly inconvenient to install alone but the trade off is well worth it long term. Received my blinds today and the valance and lower hand bar were both damaged. Not sure during manufacturing or while being shipped. My guess is the latter. I have already installed them and will not return as returning anything through the USPS is a complete hassle from where I live in rural Virginia. The dime sized hole in the lower hand bar is facing the window and you do not see it unless the blinds are fully raised. These are in my spare bedroom and I will just live it. The price was good and the blinds seemed decent until I started to install them and noticed the damage. Probably will not be the last time I received items damaged in shipment. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to this. Follow-up: Rating downgrade - Contacted Amazon and they replaced the blinds without having to return the first one. Received the replacement blinds today and they too are damaged. The mechanism to operate the blinds to open and close does not work and the lift wire on that same side was broken. I will never buy from this company again. Looks like components used are cheap and damage easily when shipped. This was a larger blind and was not lite. Perhaps smaller blinds with less weight will handle shipments better. The only plus was the Amazon online customer service was very good. ... show more
