Love the boots. Nice to just slip on boots quick when getting ready for hunting. Got larger size to add socks and heated socks for the sever cold hunts. Even with the extra socks slide off fairly easily. Snow sticks to the bottoms a bit but have plenty of traction!!

LONG READ REVIEW Lacrosse Alphaburly Pro 18” 1600G Insulated Boots Review I purchased the gray Lacrosse Alphaburly Pro 18” 1600G insulated boots for bank fishing this early spring (walleyes), with occasional wading up to calf height, and they’ve been fantastic! Sizing & Fit: I’m a size 9.5, so I went with a size 10 to accommodate double-layer socks (Nike Dri-FIT long socks + cotton/wool socks). The fit is good, with minimal toe box space. If you plan to wear only one pair of regular socks, the boots will have plenty of room. For a snug fit with thicker socks, I’d recommend going half a size down. Personally, for a snug fit I would choose a 9, but the 10 works perfectly for my sock layering. Fit rating: 4/5 Comfort: The boots are decent in comfort but don’t have much cushioning. After 4–5 hours of standing, walking, or light hiking, my feet got sore. Their height limits ankle support and mobility compared to hiking boots, making long treks on uneven terrain less comfortable. If you mostly stand or walk short distances, this won’t be a huge issue. Comfort rating: 3/5 Warmth: I wore these boots for slight wading (ankle to calf) with double-layer socks. They kept my feet warm in water temperatures ranging from the high 40s°F to mid-50s°F, and even in low 60s°F they were more than enough. I probably wouldn’t wear them in summer, but for early spring and cooler conditions, they excel. Warmth rating: 5/5 Waterproofing & Traction: Waterproofing is excellent—no leaks, and the boots arrived without defects. Traction is aggressive (in a good way), giving confidence on wet rocks or muddy banks. In water, avoid slick algae-covered spots, but overall, they grip very well. On land, the 18” height can feel a bit cumbersome for long hikes, but for short walks, it’s fine. Waterproof rating: 5/5 Traction rating: 4/5 Material & Appearance: The boot’s material feels high-quality. The rubber soles provide excellent grip and feel secure on wet surfaces. The neoprene is slightly tight, which is good for keeping warmth in, and the overall look is great. My only wish is that the insole had more cushioning—if it did, I’d give a perfect score. Material rating: 4/5 Appearance rating: 5/5 Overall: These boots are perfect for bank fishing, wading, or short hikes in cool weather. If you’re looking for tall, insulated, and waterproof boots, the Lacrosse 1600G Alphaburly Pro is an excellent choice. Great Boots! Waterproof and the thinsulate insulation works amazingly. Sitting in treestand and Temperatures in the teens and my feet never got cold. Very please with the Alphaburly boots !!

Husband is very happy with these boots. They were a little tight getting them on and off (suction wise) the first couple of days but once they were worn a few times they’re great. Warm and dry. Worth the money for a good pair of boots!
