    • Stopped working within first couple months

I have purchased multiple blankets from this company over the past two years, all of them have stopped working within the first year. I even returned one because it stopped working within the return window. The other one has stopped working recently, it does not turn on and the remote lights just flash when I try to turn it on. The remote also overheats in the first 15 minutes of use, it cannot be used or left on for long periods of time. It overheats so bad that you can’t touch it. I’ve purchased multiple because they’re soft and comfortable. However, I will not be purchasing again because they’re not worth the money and will not last you more than 6 months. ... show more

I don’t know what my life would be without it! Granted we live in California, the winter is still pretty chilly this year going down to the high 40s at night. I have a tendency to be a night owl & do a lot of my crafting straight into the night outside so that I do not bother my housemates - I would be an icicle without my blanket. I was hesitant to order this blanket because of some of the reviews, but I loved the style and color in comparison to other Amazon options so I thought I'd give it a try. To give a little background, I am a Texan, born and raised, who recently moved to WA state. I was clearly not prepared for the weather difference, and constantly find myself freezing cold even with my heater blasting. I WAS NOT MADE TO FUNCTiON IN THESE CONDITIONS. No need to fret though y'all there's a happy ending to this story. I ordered this blanket about a week ago and I am totally and undeniably IN LOVE with this thing. It is soft and keeps me incredibly warm. Some have complained about being able to feel the wires. Yes, I can feel them. Does it make me horribly uncomfortable? Absolutely not. I'm so warm and cozy, I couldn't care less. There is even heat throughout the blanket, the controls work well, and there is a very distinct difference between all three heat settings (but I prefer high because if you didn't get it already, I do not like being cold!). I haven't had to use my heater at all since I got this blanket, so I'm assuming my electricity bill is going to decrease quite a bit as well. As for size, it does run a bit small, but it covers my whole body so I have zero complaints. Overall, I haven't had any problems, and plan on updating the review in another couple of months just for follow up.     • Plug placement and two hour turn off in question

Received as a gift but Not liking the placement of the cord at the bottom.. where you can’t reach. It is being sold as throw,, but many use it as a bed blanket and it’s not convenient to have to reach down to adjust the heat. Best if the cord was on the right side closer to where the plug usually is by the head of the bed.. no wall plugs in the middle of the room. And 6 feet to short to reach the wall..Nor the fact that it turns off after two hours only. My heating pad gives the option to leave it on. I’ll try for two weeks and see if I like it or not. This blanket feels cheap. The positives are that it's pretty looking (marble look - swirls of light grey on a white blanket, that is fuzzy with longer fuzzy materials). I was first attracted to the look because that's easy to see online. It also seemed to be decently priced (maybe that's the problem). I purchased it in January and put it away in April. I try to used it again now, in September, and the heat control is blinking and I'm unable to turn on the blanket to get heat. I rate this product low because it should not be broken after only 3/4 months of use. I wish I could get my money back and order a better one. ... show more

This throw is generously sized but so thin, I can feel all the wires, making it a little uncomfortable. Low heat setting is only slightly warm; barely really. I start at medium. The electrical cord is sturdy and a nice length. The controls are easy to operate. I also like the automatic shut off. I’ll keep this blanket since it looks great with my living room furniture. It needs more padding or a thicker fabric to cushion the wires. ... show more
