We had to buy a sacrificial chair because our puppy is chewing everything. So while we are re-training the dog πŸ˜† we got this. But I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the chair is. We got the pink color. It is not overstuffed but has nice support. I have not sat in it for hours but it seems fine. Arrived in good condition and we may buy another. I like the way it looks in my living room. It was very easy to assemble; directions were very clear and easy to follow. My son loves to sit in it to watch tv and play video games. So far, it is a great product.

So, it's my own fault for thinking 'US Pride' meant made in the United States. Still, it's a nice chair to look at but lacks a lot in comfort. When I sat in the chair expecting it to sink in a little I was surprised that it didn't sink at all. It's very stiff and more like sitting on a cloth covered bench, there's no 'give' at all. Also, the velvet, although beautiful, is quite slippery and when I leaned back in the chair I would start instantly sliding forward. I remedied the slipping by putting an ottoman in front of the chair (an extra expense). Pros: very attractive, super easy to assemble. Cons: too stiff and uncomfortable, very slippery material. I am keeping the chair as I don't have time to return it but can't see using it much. I may give it away. If you're looking for pretty furniture, go for it but if you're looking for comfort then look elsewhere. This is very uncomfortable, it's hard on the hips and back. I cannot recommend. ... show more
